...From Our Readers: Why Everything Is Falling Apart
My phone chimed. My heart flipped with excitement when I saw your name on the screen. As I read your message, I smiled dreamily at the words, "I love you." That moment I knew that I was such a lucky girl to have you as my boyfriend. But when I closed my eyes, I realized one thing. We were fighting. You were mad at me. That's when I knew I was only dreaming.
...5 Things You Missed Today (October 23)
Rumors have been going around recently that Liza Soberano is set to reprise the role of Darna in another remake for television. And although fans are clamoring for her to take the role (even editing photos of Liza on photos of the beloved Filipina superhero), she said in an interview that she hasn't heard of anything about the role. Furthermore, Liza also said that she's busy promoting her movie with Enrique Gil and Gerald Anderson at the moment. (via Spot.ph)
...What It's Like Working On the TV Series On the Wings of Love
Just like you, we here at the Candy HQ are big On the Wings of Love fans, too. Aside from James Reid and Nadine Lustre's epic pairing, one of the reasons why we were excited to see OTWOL when it aired last August was because of director Antoinette Jadaone. Does her name sound familiar? It's because she's also known as Tita Witty and as the director of brilliant movies like Six Degrees of Separation From Lilia Cuntapay, Beauty In a Bottle, Relaks, It's Just Pag-Ibig, and everyone's favorite hugot movie That Thing Called Tadhana.

...From Our Readers: What Every Girl Wants to Say to the Guy She Loved and Lost
It has been a very long time.
It has been a year of firsts and lasts, which I'm sure you're aware of. For the past weeks, I was brave enough to spill and wholeheartedly share my thoughts to the world. It was my first time to feel something exceptional and that is why I have come to realize that you're worth writing about. You were worth my time, effort, and words. Believe me when I say that every blog post took incredible guts to write. Because on the night I started putting my hands to work on my thoughts about you, that's when I proved that emotional writing totally kills. At the same time, it helped me breathe freely without hard feelings, regrets, and grievances.

Style Files: Trisha Regalado
Name: Trisha Regalado
Age: 23
City: Cebu City
School: Velez College
My style. Indecisive would be the perfect word to describe my style. There are times that I love wearing monochromatic pieces but on some days, I just love looking bright and bohemian-inspired. But in all my outfits, I would never leave out the essence of comfort.
Shopping faves. Cotton On, Forever 21, and department stores are my happy places! I love wearing their clothes. Other than that, I love shopping online and in thrift shops. I believe it's not all about the brand you're wearing but how you carry yourself with the clothes you wear.
Style icons. I don't have a certain style icon but I love Filipino bloggers like Vern and Verniece Enciso, Ida Anduyan, Faye Balogo, Gela Munoz, and more. They have the confidence that I admire.
Style influence. It's mostly from social media. I love looking at fashion pages on Instagram, Lookbook, and more. I love seeing the amazing things you can do with your clothes. Social media has helped me with fashion mishaps and such.
Closet colors. As I've said my style is really indecisive, so my closet is a combination of white, black, and printed pieces.
Fave accessory. My hat! My outfits could never be complete without my beloved hat. It also suits my style really well, whether I wear something bohemian-like or something basic.
Never wearing. I seriously hate wearing bracelets. It irritates my skin and I'm bad at matching them with other pieces.
Trendy return. Preppy looks, biker jackets, denim skirts, and bodycon dresses. Basically trends from the '90s.
Bargain buy. I went thrift shopping last month and bought a really cute pair of high-waist skinny jeans for about P10. Seriously the best bargain ever!
Vintage love. I have this Coach bag which was given by my aunt around 10 years ago. I still use it today!

...#OTWOLHotseat: 3 Relationship Lessons From Leah's Dad That We Should Keep In Mind
So how did last night's On the Wings of Love episode perform? Let's just say that the trending topics on Twitter were all about it. There's the show's offish hashtag #OTWOLHotseat and then "Tatang Sol" (Nadine Lustre's character's father played by one of the country's best actors Joel Torre), "Clark Medina," "mahal nga kita eh," and "go Clark" which all refer to James Reid's character after he said it out loud and told Leah's dad that he's fighting for their marriage. Leah, you're one lucky young lady. Ya$$$!
