From Our Readers: To the Person I'm Better Off Without
From the very first day, I told myself not to think of you in that way. But there you were being the guy who insisted on giving me a ride home when it was raining on that first day, the guy who always made me smile even when it was just through text, the guy who kissed me on the cheek and said he'd give me time to think. I had no intention of falling for you, but you managed to weasel your way in my heart anyway.
...From Our Readers: I Won't Let Him Destroy Me Again
People say that when the heart breaks, it's the hardest thing to repair. No high-end tools, no medicine, and not even amnesia can mend a broken heart. Because when it breaks, you are left shattered and lost. You just have to accept that the person who promised you forever, is the same person who left you nowhere; and the person who wipes your tears is the same one who caused it; the person who hugs and tells you that everything will be okay is now gone and will never return. You're left to move on, because that's the only thing you could do.
...7 Ways You Know You're Ready For Love
You know you're ready for love when people approve of seeing you together, nod their heads in agreement like editors for a book you're writing, as if they were saying, "Job well done. You can now go home." It feels like those times when your parents tell you that you've made them proud with your choices or when your sister giggles uncontrollably about those private jokes you share with each other.

My style. Playful. The thing I like most about fashion is being able to try on different looks. I'm the type to mix and match interesting items. I truly believe that fashion should be fun and I'm having a lot of fun breaking all of the rules.
Shopping faves. Thrift stores! I love the feeling of scoring designer clothes at the cheaper cost. They also offer unique clothes that make my looks more interesting. However, if I can't find what I want, I design and create my own clothes since I studied a short course in Dressmaking.
Style icons. I love the looks of Anne Curtis, Camille Co, and Kim Jones.
Style influence. My major when I was in college–Theatre Arts. I always dressed differently depending on the character I portrayed and I got the chance to be playful with the clothes I woreduring our stage plays.
Closet colors. Basic black and white with some bright and pastel hue mixed in.
Fave accessory. A watch that my best friend gave me on my birthday.
Never wearing. Since my body shape is an inverted triangle, I never wear a top that accentuates my shoulders.
Trendy return. Love the swimsuits in the '50s because they were modest. I still believe that you don't need to show more skin to look sexy.
Bargain buy. I bought Cotton On high waist jeans for only P180!
Vintage love. My Lola's hot pink blazer. Yes, HOT PINK!

...An Open Letter to the Girl Who Tries to Please Everybody
Countless of times you've been told that you shouldn't let other people affect you, that you should live for yourself and not for others. It's so easy to say, but it's so hard to do. Sometimes, we just can't ignore the insecurity lurking in our minds. From how we look, to what we say, and how we act, it's normal to worry about what other people think of us. There's even a tendency to constantly feel like the people around us are judging our every move. The hard thing about being this way is that we never show people who we truly are. We push ourselves to be someone we feel that others will like and accept. We get easily affected by other people's opinion of us. To the tiniest comment, we mull over it so much to the point that we give them the power to run our lives. Life would have been so much better for us had we not concerned ourselves with every single thing people say about us. Because we try so hard to be accepted by others, it becomes hard for us to accept ourselves.

From Our Readers: Maybe I Cared Too Much
We were sitting on the shore side by side. Your shoulder slightly brushing against mine. It was a cold January morning, the wind blowing strands of hair into my face. I looked at you and was taken aback when I caught you doing the same, silently watching me. A peaceful smile on your face.
"What?" I whispered.
You smiled and faced the ocean that was now suspiciously quiet. The absence of the high and strong waves that were there when we arrived became noticeable.

...10 Times the iZombie Cast Gave Us Major #SquadGoals
If the cast of iZombie weren't as tight or even hated each other in real life, it would've been okay because their onscreen chemistry is so on point, even the baddies and good guys have that cool, easy vibe. But for once, we get everything we want and more—it’s almost as entertaining to watch Rose McIver (Liv), Rahul Kohli (Ravi), Robert Buckley (Major), Malcolm Goodwin (Clive), David Anders (Blaine), and Aly Michalka's (Peyton) off-screen shenanigans as the show itself! Stalking their Instagram feeds is like getting invited to an after party that never ends, and we hope they stay friends forever and ever and ever.
