7 Things to Consider Before Taking a Gap Year
During those moments when you're pretty much on the verge of ripping your hair out by the roots due to the mountain piles of paperwork, endless exams to study for, and dealing with terror professors, taking a gap year comes into mind. For most stressed-out students, a gap year brings about images of chilling at home and not having to wake up for morning classes the following day or not having to worry about submitting some overdue research paper. Given those fantasy images, taking a gap year looks like heaven, right? Okay, first of all a gap year is not a vacation. Far from it, actually. Contrary to what most people think, it isn't about taking a gap from receiving an education, but to actually fill in the knowledge gap that school doesn't, such as gathering work experience, exploring interests, volunteering, and travelling all over the world. It takes a lot of thinking, planning, commitment. Question is: Should you take a gap year? Don't worry because we're here to help you with this potentially life-altering decision. Read on, Candy Girls!

...5 Things You Missed Today (January 26)
Aww, we know that the boys of One Direction have gone their separate ways—hiatus + Zayn Malik's departure—but seems like Zen is open to the possibility of reuniting with the boys. In his interview with the Sunday Times, the singer talked about it, saying, "Who knows?...I don't know. ...An Open Letter to the Guy I Want to Start With All Over Again
It's 2 am and I'm still up thinking about you, about us. Well, at least what used to be "us." Time flies so fast—it's already been more than 2 years since we both walked out of each other's lives. I can't say that I regret it, us breaking up, because until now I still firmly believe it was the right thing to do. We needed time apart to figure out who we were without each other. Besides, at the end of it, we could hardly even call what we had a relationship. We were fighting too much and over the silliest things. We barely even wanted to be in the same room with one another. We had sadly grown to despise each other. I guess that's what I regret the most—our relationship ending the way it did. I regret letting the little things pile up and ruin us because, my darling, despite everything, I know that the love that we had was perfect.

Check out these photos which gives us a sneak peek into his new "home." (via DailyMail.co.uk)

From Our Readers: To the Guy I Still Love
I am no good in expressing what I feel in words and I don't have the courage to write a letter to you. But here I am, where we first met, writing this letter you.
There is only one question I needed to ask, what happened to us? People said we were their ideal couple because they have witnessed how strong our love for each other was. I nearly believed in forever when you came into my life but how did it ended up this way? Why does it have to end? Why does this perfect relationship have to have an ending?
Do you remember the memories we once shared? Do you recall the feeling when we exchanged I love yous with each other? Do you remember the sweet gestures we made when we are together? Because I do, and I don't think I will ever forget it.
