From Our Readers: To the One Who Made Me Feel the Love I Was Longing For
When we were in 10th Grade I fell for you, my MU's friend. I'm not writing this in order for you to see me the way I saw—see—you before. I just want you to know how grateful I am because somehow, you filled the void in my heart that your friend couldn't.
Remember when you let me have a glimpse of your affectionate and soft side? That was when I knew I liked you. But do you know where it all started? It was when Tin, my bestfriend, told me that we looked good together. At first I thought the idea of us was absurd. But when you started looking at me from afar and showing me that smile, that I knew for a fact you only let me see? I started to feel butterflies (the good kind) in my stomach whenever you come near me or sit beside me in class. A part of me knew that you could take care of me better than your friend, my MU. I knew that you would love, respect, care and make me happy more than your friend and so I distanced myself from you.

An adult who doesn't want to adult anymore finds himself transformed into a "pubescent!" version of himself and is given the chance to make things right and change his perspective in life. This was one of Zac Efron's first movies after the High School Musical series ended, and we'd watch it again and again just for the leather jacket scene! So. Cute.

Dear James Reid's glasses,
We were peacefully taking our time yesterday, going through the posts of people we follow on Instagram when this hit our Feed.
How could you do that to us without giving us some form of warning? But we're not complaining. Of course.
We thought we couldn't love James any more than we do now, but there goes our hearts—beating as if there were a thousand drums playing inside. Don't worry, we don't take it against you that you came into his life and made him look even more cuter than he already is. How is that even possible?! And how is it possible that her onscreen partner Nadine Lustre can stare at you and those beautiful pair of peepers like it's no big deal? Sorry, we just had to get it out there. We can't even stare at that photo of you on James without letting out a sigh and dying a little inside because humanity has been #blessed.

Dear Self,
Note that I am so proud of you because you have been doing ways in order for you to survive this journey. No matter how much you are struggling, you are still not giving up because you believe that there is hope in every circumstance. Even though you are silently crying in pain, you are still taking the road to your (uncertain) dream.
Remember that it is alright to make mistakes. In every mistake you make, I know that you are learning. Your failure somehow contributes to what you are right now. I am proud that in times of trouble, you are able to face your fears. Learning takes one step at a time and I am glad that you are not rushing it.

Ed Sheeran said "People fall in love in mysterious ways, maybe it's all part of the plan." Indeed, I fell in love with you in the most mysterious and unpredictable way. In a way that you became a part of my daily life, that a day would not be complete without you. Because you make me feel less pain and more special. In a way that I easily get attached to you despite of all the pains and heart breaks that I just recently experienced.
But unfortunately, I've only come to realize these things when your love for me started to fade away. You just stopped sending me messages right when I started to need them. You just lost your affection when I started to believe in it.
