The Sydney Opera House from a Boat

The Sydney Opera House is one of the most famous opera houses in the world. It seemed to me surreal as we flew in over the ocean, looking down at Sydney, at the opera house, at all the boats. It was amazing.

One of the joys of living near a city is the availability of delicious foods from around the world. When we head into Grand Rapids, Michigan, there are so many great restaurants to choose from. Yet one we keep returning to is The Pita House: Sami's Gyros. They have the Best Gyros in Michigan, hands down.

A Magnificent Trip in a Flying Machine

Growing up in my home town of Perth in Western Australia, I had lived near a small aerodrome and marvelled at the small yellow biplanes which regularly flew overhead. Often they were so low that I could see the pilot and the familiar goggles one associated with that type of aero plane.

Getting Around Rome: The Advantages of the Roma Pass

The Roma Pass is a tool for touring Rome offered by the Rome City Council, the Ministry for the Arts and Cultural activities, and the public transport company ATAC. It includes helpful tourist information, free public transportation, some free admissions, and some discounted fees.
