Winning

finishwhathestarted

Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous.

Yes, wait patiently for the LORD is faithful.

- Psalm 27:14

God does not change.

We know that right?

So then why do we so easily forget that God is faithful to finish the work that He began in us?

It is so easy to talk a good “faith” game when all is well.

Yet, when the rubber meets the road, when bills are due, when the baby is just about to need a new pair of shoes, or when life just pain throws us a curve, we too easily revert back to the  person who thinks that by worrying or talking about our problems we are somehow fixing them, making them better.

And there is God.

Waiting patiently for us to turn back to Him.

Hand Him all of our worries and cares.

So that He can finish what he started.

What is it that you are waiting on God for?

Weather your “something” is big or small, remember that it is not your job to fix “it”.

It is your job to hand “it” to God, follow his lead, and wait patiently until he does.

He is Faithful!!!

He is Capable!!

He sees YOU!!!

He will not let you down.

Trust Him with Everything and be Free!!!

Don’t be afraid, you are not alone

The early American Indians had a unique practice of training young braves.

On the night of a boy’s thirteenth birthday, after learning hunting, scouting, and fishing skills, he was put to one final test.He was placed in a dense forest to spend the entire night alone.

Until then, he had never been away from the security of the family and tribe. But on this night, he was blindfolded and taken several miles away.

When he took off the blindfold, he was in the middle of a thick woods, and he was terrified. Every time a twig snapped, he visualized a wild animal ready to pounce.

After what seemed like an eternity, dawn broke and the first rays of sunlight entered the interior of the forest. Looking around, the boy saw flowers, trees, and the outline of a path.

Then to his utter astonishment, he beheld the figure of a man standing just a few feet away, armed with bow and arrow.

It was his father. He had been there all night long.

This is what the Lord says

But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. - Isaiah 43:1

He will come through

trut

God is a faithful God!!!

It is so easy for us to forget that fact as we try and navigate our lives in this ever darkening world.

Yet, it is vital that we keep this fact posted close by to remind us that it is not about our “doing” but about His “being.”

God does not have to “work at” being faithful.

God “is” faithful!!!

Just as He came through for the Israelites Not one word of all the good promises that the LORD had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass. - Joshua 21:45 He will come through for you.

Trust Him!!

With all of it!!!

Just sow

A farmer does not wrest the plant from the seed. He sows the seed and leaves the result to God. If God’s people are faithful in sowing the seed, God will be faithful in giving the harvest.- Herschel H. Hobbs

Faith is not just…

Faith is not just about being faithful; it’s also about trusting in God’s faithfulness.

God’s ultimate plan

You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you. But remember the root command: Love one another.

- John 15:16.17 MSG
