If things seem hard, if it feels as if you are constantly having to push to get anything accomplished, it might be because you are looking at your bolder of a problem not God.

God is wanting to lead you safely through not only this present difficulty but also this life. 

But He cannot do so if you refuse to let Him lead.

He is saying to you

Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat—I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all.
