Cage – Elukkar clan
Was trying to find some sort of image to represent the character I’m writing right now – Cage in Birth of a Princess. This is best I could do. This guy resembles him a lot, down to the bike he’s on. Cage has his own custom one he’s always piddling with.

Cage is the leader of the Elukkar clan. The vampires who most resemble and encompass the characteristics of their wolf they can change in...

I Wish
The Daily Post inspired this post with their prompt Wish.
I Wishto know what it’s like to have someone in my life to have my back, and not take the other side. To fight for me as I would fight for them. To defend me as I’d forever defend them. To protect me, shield me, be my armor, as I would them.
I Wishto experience that all-encompassing love where you may as well be one. Where your souls merge. It’s that earth-shattering, world changing, beautiful corny cheesy romantic love. Where...

Project – Idea Expansion
It’s time to expand those ideas. Last time (I apologize for getting too busy for these – also I’ll be honest, when I get lack of interaction I let them slide a lot) we were talking about coming up with ideas for a story.
But now what happens if you have an idea and you want to expand it? If maybe you’re just a little hesitant to start writing and you’d like a little more to go on. Perhaps you are concerned that it won’t be much, or the idea won’t be as substantial for a story as you think.

Will I ever lose this weight?
I’m going to guess that’s crossed your mind if you’re attempting to lose those stubborn bits of fat that don’t want to go anywhere. I’ve been there. It just ain’t any fun. Worse is when the weight practically falls off in the beginning, and then you hit
. . . THE PLATEAU.
What is the plateau? That’s the place we all hit. And you will. There is just no getting around it. Even if you’ve lost weight before and get back into it. The plateau is what it sounds like. Flat line. The ugh of looking a...

Behind the editing process
A little behind the scenes into my process. This is how it looks when I first begin my deep edits. Colorful! lol Not only do I have my editor’s notes, AND my own notes to go through, but I do this.
(Achieved by opening document in old Word 2002, searching and highlighting certain words, then saving the document – the highlights stay!)
[image error]Behind the editing scenes Sylphline Realm – Crown of IceReason? It pinpoints specific details in my eye (colors are just to give a variety, nothing special) an...

Birth of a Princess Word Count
[image error]This post will follow the daily word count for Birth of a Princess. Birth of a Princess is the 3rd book in the Dynasty of Moirae series, which is the 3rd series in my paranormal romance Dark Moon Dynasty Universe.
Often asked question: how long do I write? When? I try to write for one hour between 10am – 11am.
=====Word Count=====

Break yourself open
The written word is the entry into my heart. Poetry written just for me, stories, whatever it may be. Tales of your childhood, your life, the horrors you’ve seen, the experiences you’ve had. Show me your vulnerability and depth, show me the darkest place in your soul. The more you expose the rawest parts of you, the most vulnerable and fearful areas that you’re afraid to expose. Those are the things that’ll connect us. Make me crave more, give me more. When I don’t tire of it, when I want it...

Behind cover creation for
The cover for this next book I’m writing is giving me a headache. The third in the Verrick and Ky Dynasty of Moirae series.
The original tone of the image is a blue-ish, purple-ish, cold tone and they eyes are solid toned so there is no dynamic to them. I want a different tone and highlighting for it, but I’m being beyond picky. What’s this mean? So far I’ve saved and printed nearly a hundred versions of it, attempting to find the best tone for the theme I want. I’m sure someone somewhere wil...

On Terrariums
Irish moss in the front, random moss growing in yard toward back. Terrariums are fascinating to me. I love the earth, the green, the self-contained little life they have.
Back before my father died in 2001, I had a 10-gallon aquarium that had (through a fluke) became a terrarium. The moss that was inside of it started to grow up the back wall, and to keep it, but not under foot, I gave it to my dad. He had a sunroom off his house that plants LOVED.
I can still remember the scent of the porc...
