Here's 2015 Already!

Been a crazy start to the year. My novel "Alex in Wanderland" was scheduled to come out in February, pushed back to March, now due in May 2015. I'll take a lot of the blame, spent a considerable amount of time with my editor. Think I drove her crazy. Such is a writer's life.

Looks like I have two more new projects that will be coming out in the next 12 months: #7 in the Housetrap Chronicles: "Menagerie @ Trois" and the second in the "Queen's Pawn" series, title unknown. Will be more definite closer to publication.

Looking forward to being at KeyCon 2015 in May and When Words Collide in August. Set aside time for Comic Con the end of October.

Where do the moths go?

Still waiting to see a print copy of Dark Knights (out now as an ebook) the third volume of the Dark Lady Trilogy.

Been sort of sidetracked the past month. Have a new novel, "Alex in Wanderland" coming out in March 2015. We're heavy into the editing process. Should meet the publication date.

This has slowed my work on a couple of new projects. Hoped to have a second volume in the Queen's Pawn series ready to be looked at by the end of 2014. No title yet. About 50% way through first draft so running bit behind.

As a fun project, been working on a seventh in the Housetrap series. About 2/3 way through this one. Hope to finish them both by early 2015. Then it's see what the publisher thinks.

Will be giving a session at writer's retreat this month and working a Comic Con for three days starting Halloween.

Keeping busy!

A Busy Summer!

We just launched the print version of Dark Days (the second in the Dark Lady trilogy) at When Words Collide in Calgary.

The third in the series, Dark Knights, came out as an ebook this month. No word yet when a paper version will appear.

Finished the editing of The Treasure of the Sarah Madder, another Housetrap Chronicles novella. The ebook should be out very shortly, if not already. That makes six of those.

Was busy at WWC in Calgary. I was on seven panels talking about writing. Gave me little time to sit in on some of the others.

Will be attending Comic Con in Winnipeg in October and doing a session on a writers workshop that month.

Never a dull moment.

Only a Year (or two?) Behind Blogging

Guess I'm just too busy writing. Bad Author!

Where am I today? In 2014 I have the two sequels to "The Dark Lady" coming out.

"Dark Days" is out as an ebook March 2014.
"Dark Knights" arrives in August 2014. Is that the end of the tale? Depends on my editor and publisher.

The saga of the "Housetrap Chronicles" continues:

#5 "Murder in the Rouge Mort" arrives July 2014
#6 "The Treasure of the Sarah Madder" comes out Oct 2014.

Looking ahead to 2015 I have "Alex in Wanderland" scheduled for Feb 2015.

I'm currently working on the first of two sequels to "The Queen's Pawn" and started the 7th in the Housetrap series.

That should keep me busy in 2014!

I also do book reviews for C/M Magazine which is probably why I haven't gotten around to doing any on Goodreads.

Oh Good Grief ...where does the time go?

Where I'm at Today

Just an update of how my writing world is going:

My publisher, Champagne/Burst Books, has picked up three more in the Housetrap Chronicles series. These are written and scheduled for release throughout 2013. I am currently working on the first draft of a fifth novella in that fantasy detective series.

Completed the first drafts of two full-length novel sequels for The Dark Lady. Just waiting for the comments back from the publisher.

With Knight's Bridge just out this month, and The Queen's Pawn due out April 1st, I think I have enough to keep busy.

Enjoy your reading!
