Advice for a 14 year old girl?

Take the fight with you everywhere. Learn how to say “no.” Don’t let boys put their fingers inside of you in dark corners if they’re not gonna hold your hand in the light. Be good to other women. Be good to yourself. Nothing is forever and everything is forever. Learn which is which. Let go of the things that aren’t good for you. Hold onto the people that are. Be fucking furious if you need to be. Be loud, be opinionated, be angry. Don’t take shit from people who call you “girl.” Boys are stupid and there’s loads of them, don’t let one ruin you. Learn how to say no, acknowledge your right to say it, use it.
