Please calm down. You’re acting like I have a sign on my ask box that says “ASK ME FOR ADVICE, I KNOW IT ALL!" Since I can’t really help the fact that people ask me for help, I’m really not gonna apologise for how I deal with things. If they don’t like my advice, they don’t need to take it, it’s as simple as that. But hear me on this one: I will never ever tell a person to work for a relationship that is clearly bad for them. Zero tolerance on toxic people and abusive relationships whether it’s emotional or physical. Now go read a book and quit stressing over things that aren’t your business.

That is so not your fault. Like, what a petulant little child. Your friendship can’t have meant very much to him if he’s so willing to let it go just because you can’t reciprocate romantic feelings. Having platonic relationships that are worth something is so fucking important. Please don’t feel guilty about this. Please don’t feel like it’s your fault. If you don’t have feelings for someone then you don’t. They’re just not there. That’s okay. Give him some time, I think he’ll need more than a day or two to get over this. But if he can’t put this aside and continue to love you and be your friend then that’s on him. Not on you.
