Truth: I am better as a concept.
The reality of you is more beautiful then anything that I could fabricate.

Do you ever have a moment of sheer panic when you’ve told someone that you love them or that something is hurting and you just know that it isn’t going to change anything or make a difference so you’re stuck for an exhausted, awful moment thinking ‘what on Earth am I doing here? And when do I give up this fight?’
Hi! I was just wondering if you could explain your reasoning behind your poem Persephone. I'm studying Greek mythology right now and what I've learned is that Persephone was basically kidnapped by Hades. I'm just curious, considering you seem to have a dif
Hello! I have this issue, right, where I like to re-imagine all myths and stories into ones where women make their own choices. So, Delilah was in love with Samson and wasn’t just a thieving, manipulative bitch. Persephone chooses to walk into hell with Hades because she’s intrigued by him. I’m going to do a series like this for university, I hope. None of these things are cemented in any kind of history, it’s just an interesting thing to do.

You are going to be okay. You are going to be okay. I am so glad that you know that hurting doesn’t mean forever. I am so glad that I could help make your insides warm in any way that it might have happened.

My body, your hands
And I’m missing every word
You are mine, yeah you say so
When you call me late nights
But I wonder how should I know
You’re in love enough to fight

Hi there! What was the poem called, the one you wrote about Hades and Persephone? I’m pretty sure you wrote it, anyway. Sorry for bugging you, but I can’t for the life of me remember the title. Thank you in advance!(:
You’re not bugging me at all! It’s called Persephone and you can read it here x

I love you very much. You are the city I live in; you are the name of the month and the day. I float, salty and heavy with tears, barely keeping my head above water. I seem to be sinking, but even there, underwater-where the phone doesn’t ring and rumors don’t reach, where it is impossible to meet you-I will go on loving you.
I love you, yet you force me to hang onto the running boards of your life. My hands are freezing. I’m not jealous of people: I’m jealous of your time. It is impossible not to see you.
So what can I do when there is no substitute for love? You know nothing about the weight of all things.”

WHEN AMAZING, STRONG, CAPABLE, SMART, BRAVE YOUNG PEOPLE DON’T SEE HOW WONDERFUL THEY ARE AND SAY THINGS LIKE ‘I AM WORTHLESS’ OR ‘I AM NEVER GOING TO AMOUNT TO ANYTHING’ I WANT TO TAKE THEM BY THE SHOULDERS AND SHAKE IT ALL OUT OF THEM AND SCREAM ‘HOW DARE YOU LOOK AT ALL YOUR WONDER LIKE THAT AND UNDERVALUE IT.’
