I’ve started obsessively watching Scandal and it’s frustrating me beyond reason that Olivia is in love with someone as weak as the president. She’s so strong and intelligent and courageous and he can keep telling her he loves her but if he’s not going to do anything about it his words mean fuck all

You've been posting a lot about racism in America lately. I'm not saying racism in the USA shouldn't be highlighted, but you are English, and by reblogging things about the US, you aren't really changing all that much, whereas you could be making a differe

I’ve been thinking about how to answer this question for a while. Funnily, I’ve had this conversation with my friend and my answer remains the same: I am outraged about what is happening in America because it’s a blatant infringement of justice. It’s about race. Which is not to say that racism in the UK is not prevalent, I think we’re at the highest levels of Islamaphobia across Europe at the moment however Muslims are not being shot in the streets. Our police are not getting away with shooting innocent people. America is a travesty of the justice system. Just recently with the CIA reports and Obama’s praising of them despite their brutal treatment of prisoners. So you’re right. I can’t make a difference from where I am standing but I have a following large enough who can hear me when I talk about it and they can make that difference.

Something violent

Act like it.”

You are Jane Eyre: both soft and wild. You believe in God, but not a belittling angry one. Your God is bigger. Truer. You love like crazy, so human, with your whole self, but you won't take less than that either. You'll fly away if someones tries to put a

I really truly can’t thank you enough for this message. I’m putting it right here because I never, ever want to forget it. You are so gentle I hope everything lovely kisses you on the cheek. Thank you thank you thank you.
