i observe men in silence, how they leave plates on dining room tables, how they slam doors, how they take up whole couch with legs sprawled and lounging arms, how they do not filter speech, too confident, too loud. voices always violent, everything a war.

I don't know if you recall reciting profane, I just wanted to hail you as the queen of poetry and softness.
Love love love.
Is that your voice reading Profane by Ashe Vernon? I cannot stop listening.

I'm a guy who enjoys writing poetry but I'm just curious about whether or not girls find guys that write poetry attractive or not?? I know you can't speak for an entire gender and you may be biased since you write poetry yourself but maybe your followers c
Literally, so? So what if women didn’t find it attractive? (Which I am not saying is true). Would you just stop writing? Mate, every single man I meet could roll around and tell me that they think poetry is for losers and they’d never wanna date me and you know what? I’d keep writing. I’d keep fighting that fight. Ya reckon the girl you’re gonna end up with is gonna rock up and be like “well… I could have loved you but you write me sweet verses and that’s just too feminine, sorry.” Nah.

Your writing is good, don't get me wrong. However, each of your poems recently are beginning to have the same sound (I.e. Fierce, conquering, fire imagery, mention of God, ruining etc) and similar subject matter (about a boy.) Just something I've noticed a
I know, I’m ridiculous. I’ve always written about love. Recently become obsessed with other people’s God’s. Heck knows, man. I’ve got no idea how to fix it!
