To Review or Not to Review

That is the question!

I can’t deny it. I love free books because they lead me to new authors. If I had a nickel for every book I bought because of enjoying a free read, I’d be–well, I’d be buying more books. This also leads me to the topic of this post. Reviews.
Reviews help draw attention to your books both positive and negative. This is a given (and I won’t get into the nastiness that has spread some sites). I, however, struggle to write a review for a book I didn’t enjoy. As both a reader an...

Another Sexy Saturday Snippet

Again from my current obsession...I mean, work in progress, Web of Desire. Two secondary characters are featured this week. Hope you enjoy.

"Why me?"

Because I needed an excuse, any excuse to see you again. Damon drew a deep breath. "You're good, Bea. You're thorough and I can trust you to keep this on the down-low." She stopped picking at the towel and placed her hand on his. He was sure she'd take the job but something in her eyes made her answer difficult for Damon to read.

"Damon, about what...

Round Robin Guest Michele Stegman

Please welcome my guest for the Breathless Press Round Robin, Michele Stegman. She has a new release coming soon that looks intriguing! Michele is blogging about something with which I am well familiar. Chaos. Thanks for stopping by, Michele! Take it away...
Is there chaos at your house? For someone who lives on 46 acres at the end of a dead end road, it seems there is often a lot going on here. We have a lot of company, especially this time of year. And there's so much going on with end of sc...

My BP Round Robin Guest

I am hosting the fabulous Faberge Nostromo whose debut, His Secret Dancer should be on everyone's to be read list. He has a passion for guitars that matches mine. Please give him a warm welcome.

Hi Gayl, thanks for having me. May I introduce myself?
I grew up in the East End of London before escaping to East Anglia. I’ve been a civil servant, a tea boy, sound engineer, a librarian and an IT consultant but deep down, I always knew that I was a writer. I now live deep in the heart of S...

State of the Art

I've been (not so) noticeably absent on my blog. Shameful, I know. I celebrated my one year debut release rather quietly. Not what I had planned but things don't go how I plan so I try not to. Plan that is.

Anyway, Breathless Press authors are having a round robin this month and next. What is a round robin you ask? Come on, I heard you ask, don't deny it. A round robin is similar to a blog hop without the giveaway. I'll be hosting and posting with two Breathless authors in the next few days.

Fi...

Found Worthy

I posted this flash last week at the Breathless Press blog. There is something very appealing about a man in nearly nothing. I want to flick that button out of the buttonhole and...but I digress. Here is my flash.

Everything happened so quickly. One moment Henri was leaning against the heavy wooden balustrade of the southern plantation and the next he was…where in heaven’s name was he anyway? Think, man! A glimmer of memory wove through his mind. A beautiful goddess of a woman lay asleep in hi...
