Holding Pattern
A slight change to the release date for Ride a Cock Horse. It has been moved back to May 25. I'm okay with that especially since it gives me a little time to focus on some other manuscripts. It is interesting how I can know what I want to write until I sit down to write it. In a bit of a writing funk this weekend.
This week I attended a development offsite for my "day job" (in quotes because sometimes that day job involves working at night). We were given the opportunity to create a collage th...

The Valentine Post
If you can't be with the one you love on Valentine's Day, I would most definitely settle for the man on the left. Michael David Barre. He has been making quite the splash on Facebook as of late. With those muscles, that look, the scruff - he makes my heart erratically hammer in my chest. And a few other things I won't mention here.I have said it before and I will say it again. He is a dead ringer for Tate, my main character in one of my works in progress. Athletic and drop dead gorgeous...

Cover Art
This could not have been delivered to my Inbox at a better time. Having experienced the week from Hell, I needed something to put a smile on my face and this did it in spades. Behold the cover of my upcoming release, Ride a Cock Horse. Artwork is by the talented Victoria Miller at Breathless Press. I don't know who the female model is but she fits my female character perfectly. Male cover model is the swoon-worthy Jimmy Thomas. Counting myself as extremely fortunate to have him on my very fir...

Book Review - Sinful Urges
From the blurb:Follow the confessions of Juan and Maria as they fall prey to lust at first sight. Can they stop themselves before it's too late, or will they become victims of their own sinful urges?
A new neighbor sends Juan running to confession to rid himself of the lustful thoughts he experiences. Each confession becomes more erotic, more sinful than the last. Can Juan stop himself, or will he give in to the desire that threatens his very faith?
The man across the street causes Maria to...

Round One - The Purple Pen of Doom
That's right. Purple. Pen. Of Doom. I've been working on the first round of edits for Ride a Cock Horse. I was expecting some heavy edits the first time around, especially since my editor is (fondly) referred to as Her Editing Evilness, wielder of the Purple Pen of Doom, master of the Chicago Manual of Style.
I imagine her with purple ink dripping off her hands as she gleefully marks up your manuscript. The one in which your words painstakingly bled onto the document. Okay, technically it is ...

Book Review - A Facebook Affair
A Facebook Affair is a sweet, sexy story with a little something extra - a message about adversity, bullies, and being less than "perfect". It revolves around Kelly, who lost her hearing at a young age and her budding romance with Brandon, who befriended her when they were children. Kelly is at loose ends after the death of her mother from cancer. At the encouragement of her best friend to put herself out in the social world, she signs up for a Facebook account. She looks up an old crush from...

One Helluva Ride
Have you ever thought about writing a naughty twist to a nursery rhyme? When I saw that Breathless Press was looking for them, my imagination went a little crazy. I am so glad it did! The idea of putting my own twist on a fairy tale or nursery rhyme intrigued me. Today I am sharing a blurb from my upcoming eBook Ride a Cock Horse which will be available April 2012.

Not So Deep Thoughts
It was around 70 degrees today, absolutely gorgeous afternoon and too nice to stay cooped up in the house but I have a lot of things going on. As of a few days ago, my pre-edits are done and my cover art form submitted. I am on pins and needles in anticipation of what it will look like. Every small step closer makes me giddy. I have a tentative release date of April 14th so mark your calendars folks. In case I haven't mentioned it a thousand times, the title is Ride a Cock Horse and it will b...
