The Man of Her Dreams

Isabella knew what her dreams would bring when sleep finally came. She drifted, in an alternate reality that was both comforting and dangerous. At the heart of her fevered dreams was a man—no, a god. She'd been frightened at how real he seemed but her fear soon turned to anticipation and raw lust. Each night that he came to her, Isabella struggled to open her eyes, to see him, touch him. He whispered in her ear, his breath fluttering gently against her delicate skin."Do you want me Isabe...

The Ranch Hand

Jason leaned on the worn fence and watched the drama at the main house unfold. He’d worked this ranch for the past three years, endured the blazing heat, the long hours, and his overwhelming desire for the owner, Lacey Williams. She’d been over her head in debt ever since she hired him. He knew this because of one unbearably hot evening when neither of them could sleep. They ended up sharing a bottle of whiskey by the lake, one thing led to another, and after she spilled the beans about...

The Countdown and Other News

Calvin and Hobbes - gotta love that duo.

It seems like this day would never come. Not release day yet but Ride a Cock Horse is available for pre-order at the Breathless Press website. I've been stalking the site for the last two weeks in anticipation. The one time I didn't - well let's just say I didn't know it was there until my friend and crit partner Karyn Gerrard told me. Every step of this process has been new, has had it's highs and lows, and like any roller coaster ride it has been...

The Morning After

Mara stood at the foot of her bed and studied the man sleeping in it. Darkness shrouded the room except for dim light filtering in from the window. She’d broken the first of her cardinal rules-never let the client sleep over. Technically, they hadn’t done much sleeping so Mara figured she could let it slide. She ought to finish dressing and get him out of her bed but he looked so delicious barely covered by the sheet.

Carefully kneeling on the bed, Mara gently ran her hand slowly up his leg un...

Of Muse and Men

The other day I read and commented on a post about Dream Men. I personally have several dream men. The thing I like about them is how they inspire my writing and my heroes. One of my current works in progress as well as my latest contracted book The Hero Sandwich co-authored with Karyn Gerrard are heavily fueled by one dream man in particular. Well, okay maybe two dream men.

I am an avid baseball fan and a die-hard Giants fan (that's San Francisco, not NY). I had the pleasure of...

Never Say Never

Happy to say I received a contract offer from Breathless Press for another contemporary erotic romance! The ink is not completely dry but I can't help sharing my elation over it. This story happened out of the blue and I could not be happier. What is special is how it came about - a collaboration with my crit partner and writing buddy Karyn Gerrard. She and I have known each other since our early days from the Sims community.

Karyn is a talented author, great lady, and mentor. I have lear...

On the Run

The early morning chill hung in the air and misted with every breath Lisa and Marc took. They walked hand in hand silent but for the occasional squawk of a lone sea gull and the soft swish of surf against the shore. In another couple of hours, the boardwalk would be teeming with tourists, locals, and quite possibly, the hit man who was looking for Marc. He knew it was a risk exposed as he was without the cover of a crowd but he had to risk it—just this once.
“You’re going to run again aren’t y...

Sexy Bunny Blog Hop

I have an unadulterated passion for dark chocolate. This is the time of year when I really indulge myself in my favorite decadent treat (post Lent of course). Here are a few of my favorites (in no particular order):

Trader Joe's French Truffles
Rich, gooey, andcoated with cocoa powder, these decadent treats not only melt in your mouth, they melt on your fingers. You have no choice but to lick them - or let yoursignificant other do the honors.

Hershey Kisses
What can I say about these? They are cut...

Lucky Seven - Meme

I was tagged by the fabulous Tara Chevrestt to do this meme. Here are the rules:
1. Go to page 77 of your current ms
2. Go to line 7
3. Copy down the next 7 lines - sentences or paragraphs - and post them as they're written. No cheating.
4. Tag 7 other authors.
I had a few WIPs to choose from, none of which are near 77 pages yet so I went with page 7 and started at line 7. This is from an as-yet-untitled book. Untitled because I haven't decided what works best. The transaction complete,he rounded...
