And, of course, it should eventually be up on GallagherGirls.com (but it probably won’t be there until sometime on Tuesday).

The best part, of course, is IT’S FREE!

So even if you haven’t tried Heist Soc...

Why Double-Crossed is digital only

A lot of people have been asking whether or not Double-Crossed will be available in paperback or hardback and, if not, why?

Well, a few reasons really.

For starters, this all came about REALLY quickly. I first pitched the idea to my publisher a few months ago. To have a physical book in stores we would have needed at least a year. And I really wanted it to come out BEFORE Heist Society 3, Perfect Scoundrels.

The second reason is that it’s just a novella–not a novel. Don’t forget, it is only abou...

A Double-Crossed mini excerpt!

Because I’m in the mood…

A Double-Crossed mini-excerpt! Look for the FULL thing in about a month!

Quietly, Macey went through her options. Even though the masked men were asking for cell phones, the gunmen were making so much noise that she was sure someone had already called 911. The obvious exits were blocked, and the elevators had no doubt been disabled. The men moved with confidence and order, but they weren’t trying to be quiet. There was nothing covert at all about this operation.

Double-Crossed

It’s here! The day where I can finally tell you all about my super-secret project! Aka: Double-Crossed: A Spies and Thieves Novella.

Macey McHenry—Glamorous society girl or spy-in-training?

W.W. Hale V—Heir to an American dynasty or master thief?

There are two sides to every coin. Whether these two can work together is a tossup.

Born into privilege, Macey and Hale are experts at mingling with the upper class. But even if they’ve never raised an eyebrow at the glitz, neither teenager has ever felt...

Publiversary!

As one of you so awesomely reminded me yesterday, today is my publiversary!

Seven years ago today my very first novel, CHEATING AT SOLITAIRE (which is now out of print) was published to lackluster reviews and terrible sales.

But it was published! And my journey began.

Thanks for coming along for the ride!

My Christmas list…for me

Because I KNOW you’re all wondering…this is what you can do for me this Christmas.

1. recommend books to friends. Seriously. When I talk to teens I ask, “how to do you hear about new books” and almost always it is “from a friend.” So, if there is someone in your life who you think might like my books (or OTHER books) recommend them. Loan them a copy, even. I think that would be awesome.

2. check out Heist Society if you haven’t already. I know a lot of you think that will make you disloyal to t...

What Stephenie said…

I get a lot of questions about movies. And TV shows. And just Hollywood stuff in general. And I always do my best to address those questions here (and elsewhere), but yet the questions remain…

That was one of many reasons I was SO happy to wake up to find this absolutely awesome interview with Stephenie Meyer this morning.

Want to know where/how/when books get turned into films? Don’t take my word for it. Just put me down as a ditto for what Stephenie said.
