meditation: SOMETIMES PEOPLE DIE WHO SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DIE
and sometimes it's preventable and people leave before their time
and it didn't have to happen
but I haven't been in your skin and
this isn't my
LIFE.
And we say "Why? Why did this have to happen" and we wonder how could this be God's will even though it did actually happen so doesn't that mean it must be...
and today, I will put aside what should
have been or shouldn’t have come
to pass and let it just be
what it was
and
what happened
and do my part to do
to make my best choices
and do the best I can do
with my life and the lives
I am privilged to get to
TOUCH.
and it didn't have to happen

meditation: SOMETIMES I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I CAN'T DO EVERYTHING
even when I want to
and there is so much
to do
and there are so many things
I am passionate about
I cannot cut myself into pieces
like
CHEESE
on a cutting board
or a thousand clowns
coming out of a car.
And today I will pick and choose
what I can do and what I will do
and I will save the rest
and I will know that they will fit into
another day
and I won't make myself crazy
with this and I will not pull
myself in so many directions
like salt water taffy
and I will just let it be OK
that some things go
UNDONE.
and there is so much
to do
and there are so many things
I am passionate about

meditation: AVALANCHE
Some days it hits you like an
AVALANCHE.
The people around you
are turning against you
it feels like the case
you've invested so much in
is slipping away
maybe even the world is turning
and all your walls are just
TUMBLING DOWN.
And in these days,
when they come
sometimes it's time
to TURN YOUR HEAD AWAY
and let it clear
do nothing and just take
One Moment at a time
because ONE DAY is just
too far too long
and to remember that at
any second life can turn
on a dime and tomorrow could be
a Brand New Day
and even if I can't imagine it
any of the pieces could
CHANGE.

A NEW BOOKSTORE IS GOING TO CARRY THE BOOK
That makes 4.
If you have any ideas about independent bookstores that might want to carry it in between San Diego and LA, shoot me some ideas.
Where I might be able to do book signings too.
March 9th signing still on in Venice at MYSTIC JOURNEYS 7-9P.
Thinking about taking a trip up to San Francisco to check out the bookstores there too.

Meditation: AIR LOCK
I don't always do so
When I'm out of my element...
When I step off of my regular path
Like a cat that is so place oriented I am much a
Creature of habit. Although I love an adventure.
But when all is said and done and I've stepped back into my normal life, it takes me a moment in time to resettle and get my feet back on the ground, Like coming up to surface after scuba diving or being in an
AIR LOCK out in deep space, almost floating but not knowing why.
And for some reason, with me, this is just the nature
OF THINGS.

Back from the conference
The conference was amazing.
I sold out of all the books I brought plus I was lucky enough to be able to take phone orders home.
6 books go out in the mail today.
My lectures went really well.
3 non-stop days of intensity.
Today, I need to reorient and CRASH...
(maybe that's a meditation...?)

meditation: TRUST IN the PROCESS
Today, I will CHOOSE TO KNOW that
God/The Energy/The Great Power of the Universe
is actually on the case
and I don't have to worry about it.
And I will stop CHECKING UP and
LOOKING OVER MY SHOULDER to
check in on the progress and stalk it in my fear or even just excitement
and just
STAY OUT OF THE WAY,
and let the work be
DONE
