They say that the Universe
loves speed

meditation: IF YOU'RE NOT ON MY SIDE, GET OUT OF MY WAY

I am content with that. There is a purpose for this torture."

meditation: GRATITUDE and DESPERATION:
Today, I will be grateful that
I am still DESPERATE not to
feel the way I used to feel...
and today, I will be grateful that I get not to live
the way I used to live and do
the things I used to do.
And even though things have changed,
it can be easy to forget where you come from
because you’re not passed out
on the floor anymore
or sleeping in a bathtub
or caught up in a web of someone else’s
bad energy that they never really invited you into
anyway.
And it’s so easy to forget that
now is a new day
when you get caught up in the problems
that come along with new privileges.
But wherever you go,
there you'll still be
so don't forget to remember
to remember to forget
who it seemed like you once
thought
you WERE
and who you think now
you will be.

I FORGET IT'S NOT MY JOB TO FIGURE IT OUT
I forget
it's not my job to
figure it out.
I couldn't if I tried.
But I forget and I
still try
ANYWAY
until I remember
when it becomes
a struggle and it's not
flowing to be
STILL and
OPEN MYSELF
for the answers to come.
And maybe it's right away
or maybe it's later on when
I'm not even thinking or
prepared to notice.
But it's better than whatever
it is I'm trying
to PUSH.
