It's a New St. Claire Release!

MONTY is out! Finally. Monty is the novel that follows MAGNUS. They're brothers, but they'll meet for the first time In this new book.
So let me tell you about Montgomery St. Claire...
This man has been my WHOLE life for the last two and a half months. I wanted to stop writing but he kept on talking to me. Four-hundred and thirteen pages later, I end up with a super novel and a man who finally got himself together. But it took a lot of work. A LOT of work!
Monty is complex - more complex than Magnus. He's a product of rejection and he's carried that into adulthood. Yeah, he's smart, sexy, handsome, extremely alpha, but there's something seriously wrong with his attitude and the way he views life. Everyone is beneath him because he's so high up. The billionaire who has it all and doesn't need anything.
Or does he?
A man who doesn't get along with his mother or his brother (the one he actually grew up with). He's an injured man - he carries pain that no one knows about. He hides a lot. He has no one to turn to. No confidant, until...
When he runs into his personal assistant, Cherish Stevens, in his bedroom closet, it sets off a chain reaction of events that forces him to take a hard look at his life. And he takes an ever HARDER look at the woman who's responsible for his changes.
MONTY is available now at the following links:

#TeaserTuesday - When Haven Laid Eyes on Him...Finally!

Spring Break - Mini Excerpt
Her legs bounced up and down. Anxiety taking over, she couldn’t sit still. She glanced at her watch again – 6:25 p.m. What if Titus didn’t show up? Her legs bounced more. She shifted in her seat and released short breaths. She was about to check her phone again when she heard her mother say, “There he is.”She turned around to see him walking toward them wearing a black suit with a white shirt, rocking a red necktie and carrying two red-stemmed roses. Haven immediately got up from her seat, hurriedly closed the distance between them and embraced her tall, dapper, handsome man. She hadn’t laid eyes on him in two weeks. They’d video-chatted but nothing about a video call could give her this feeling – the feeling of holding him in her arms. Smelling his cologne. His skin. Feeling his warmth. Basking in his presence. It was like being kissed by the sun. “I’m so glad you’re here,” she whispered. “You say that like you didn’t think I was going to come,” he said, staring into her eyes.“You had me worried there for a minute. I tried to call you,” she said, glancing at his mouth. “I know.” He leaned down to take a kiss from her red-tinted lips. “I’d stopped quickly to get these.” He handed her a rose.“Thank you.”“You’re welcome, beautiful.” He put his arms around her and walked over to the table where her parents were sitting. Pulling out a chair for Haven to sit, Titus looked at Cicely and smiled. He handed her a rose saying, “For you, Mrs. Baker.”“Thank you, Titus,” Cecily said, all smiles.“You’re welcome.”“It’s good to see you again, Mr. Baker,” Titus said reaching to shake his hand. “Where’s my rose?” Silas joked, then erupted in laughter. “I’m just pulling your leg, man. It’s good to see you. Now we can eat.” “I’m glad you’re here Titus. Dad was about to take one of those crab cakes from our neighbor over there,” Haven said.“I sure was. I didn’t have lunch today. I’m starving.”“Well, let’s get this show on the road, then.” Titus walked around the table, took his position next to Haven then glanced over at her quickly before looking again to fix his eyes on her face. There was no comparison to seeing her on video chat. He marveled at the soft touches the makeup had on her already outstanding features. How the blush laid visible the beautiful cheekbones his lips were quivering to kiss. The side profile of her lips made them look plump, firm and delicious. He couldn’t wait to kiss them like he wanted...

The Return of The Blackstones

Candice Blackstone is single by choice, but a chance meeting once upon a time ago led her in the path of Kurt Hempstead. She wasn't interested back then. Didn't call him. Didn't give him the time of day - that is until he showed up in a business meeting at Blackstone Financial Services Group. The deal his company offered was one that left her furious, but with her eyes on Kurt, her blood boiled for a different reason - he was handsome. Smart. Educated. And this time, she knew she'd give him a shot.
After five months of dating, this is where this love story begins.
I hope you enjoy the story. If you haven't read the other Blackstone stories, here is the reading order:
Book 1 - Evenings With Bryson
Book 2 - Leaving Barringer
Book 2.5 - Forever Us, Barringer and Calista Blackstone (A Short Story follow-up to Leaving Barringer)
Book 3 - The Things Everson Lost
Book 4 - Candy's Corporate Crush

Magnus St. Claire Isn't Your Typical Billionaire...

Magnus St. Claire isn't your typical billionaire. The man has ISSUES. But that's why I like him. HE HAS ISSUES. No one wants to read about the rich man who has it all together and Magnus certainly does not. Right out the gate [Chapter 1] you'll find out something about him that'll make your mouth fall open. But this is romantic suspense so everything will work out in the end, right?
Right?
Right...?
Well, rest assured, this is a standalone novel so you don't have to wait to find out what'll happen.
Back to the story...Magnus has his eyes on a waitress named Shiloh but not for the reason you may think. Is she pretty? Yes. Is she nice? Yes. Is he interested in dating her? Nope.
But he does want something. You'll find out what that something is in Chapter 1.
Final thoughts on Magnus before its release:
I haven't written a 90,000+ word novel in a looong time. That's because I never had a need to. When I write a story, I end it where it needs to end without adding a bunch of unnecessary scenes/dialogue. With Magnus, however, the story just flowed. Chapter after chapter. Scene after scene. I thought it was important that readers understood his perspective - as confusing and crazy as that perspective may be. With Magnus, everything is not what it seems. When I say he's broken, I mean it. He's broken. But we all have things about ourselves that we hide. Things no one else knows but us. Things we privately struggle with. He's no exception. Billionaires have problems, too! And that's one of the lessons in the novel. Money isn't everything. Some of the loneliest people in the world are rich. And this guy - shrew! I'll just let you read it. ;-)
I hope you enjoy the latest St. Claire novel as much as I enjoyed writing it!

#TeaserTuesday and Book Cover Reveal - Who is Magnus St. Claire?
Who is Magnus St. Claire?
He's the latest alpha-male hero in the St. Claire Series!
Back when I wrote Regal, I wasn't certain whether it would be the last book in that series, but I love the series so much (and I know y'all do too!) I decided to write more about these men. You'll learn all about Magnus, his relation to the other St. Claires and more important information about his family in this 300+ page novel that's to be released January 14, 2019! But most importantly, you'll see inside the soul of a man who's broken. Who needs love but stubbornly fights it every step of the way. You'll meet Shiloh, a waitress who has caught Magnus' charming green eyes. And you'll see their relationship grow. The highs and the lows. You'll see how love can conquer grief.
For now, enjoy the Book Description and an Excerpt.

#TeaserTuesday - The Check-In
Enjoy this mini-excerpt from my new novelette,
Hot Chocolate
.
*Excerpt subject to change before final publication date.
She activated his room key, then said, “Here you go. One key. Your suite, room eight, is up the stairs and on the right. Second door.
“Great,” Titus said glancing around at the log cabin-style place again. It was just the kind of cozy retreat he needed to relax. “Thank you, ah—I didn’t get your name.”
“It’s Haven.”
“Haven—how fitting for a place like this.”
“I get that all the time,” she said. She failed to mention how much it had irritated her. Well, now that he’d said it, she no longer found it an irritant. With a voice like his, he could make anything sound good. “I hope you enjoy your stay.”
“I’m sure I will, Haven. I feel safe here.” He winked at her then turned to walk away, probably back out to the car to get his bags or bag. Singular. Men usually packed light. It was the women who packed like they were preparing for the world’s end.
As he continued to the door, Haven gave him further examination. He was tall, looked decent and well built. Nice posture. She didn’t have a lot to go on since he was wearing a long coat but from what she could tell, he had a nice body. He wasn’t married and was traveling solo – surely a man like him had a woman somewhere.
That was the problem with most men she met these days. They were always taken. Unavailable. Already knee-deep in relationships. Being stuck at the B&B didn’t afford her the opportunity to meet people. She didn’t have time outside of work to go see her friends, all of whom moved away after college. Her time was limited. The bed and breakfast was her life and it would be for the foreseeable future.

One of my Favorite Scenes from Regal (A St. Claire Novel)

Felicity’s eyes rolled up from the paperwork she’d been reviewing to see the smirk on his face, his exceptionally straight white teeth and then there was a dimple. Lawd…Oh. My. God. Focus, Felicity. Yeah, he’s fine, but he’s also a pain in the butt. Don’t let him get to you.“Good morning,” he said, offering up a quick smile. Her lips quivered. Why does he have to be so handsome and annoying at the same freakin’ time? Why? His smile alone was enough to make her blush. “I’m busy,” she told him, hoping he’d be on his way.“That’s not the response you give someone when they greet you with, good morning,” he said, staring at her hair up close. It looked soft, hanging down to her defined collarbone. He wondered how all that hair would feel in his hands. He had a sudden hankering to touch it, but she’d probably turn into an EF5 tornado had he done such a thing. He glanced at her nails. They were medium length with sharp, pointy tips, painted pink, the same color as her blouse. Nice, he thought. He’d always liked the way she carried herself.“Good morning. Bonjour.” He made another attempt to give her a chance to properly greet him.“Why are you bothering me, Regal? I didn’t invite you to my table,” she said evenly determined not to let him win or, in other words, get under her skin.“You didn’t have to. I invited myself and it’s exactly what you get for trying to hide from me back up in Gianna’s office.”Aggravated, Felicity ran her fingers through her hair. “What are you talking about? Nobody was hiding from you.”“Yeah, you were.” He slurped coffee. “You saw me coming and bolted, huh? I wonder why it’s so difficult for you to be in my presence. I mean, I know I got swag and all, but you should be able to withstand all this man, shouldn’t you? Instead, you run and hide.”She rolled her eyes. “Oh get over yourself. I had to take a phone call.”His lips quirked up. He didn’t buy her story. “Sure you did, Dub.”“Jeez. There you go with that crap. What are you even doing here? Don’t you have some buildings to design or something?”“Don’t you have some marriages to orchestrate?”“That’s what I was trying to do before I was so rudely interrupted.”“All because you won’t say good morning. Pity…”“Is that what it’s going to take for you to leave my table?” she asked, looking up at him. He had a smirk on his handsome face and already looked amused like he was ready with a comeback to whatever she would dish out.He lifted a massive shoulder. “Don’t know. You could give it a shot.”“Okay. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning! Happy now?”His small smile grew into a much bigger one. Of course, he was happy. He’d successfully gotten under her skin again. Why wouldn’t he be happy?

Lights, Camera, Action 2018 Read You Later Event
On August 24 - 25, 2018, I attended the Lights, Camera, Action 2018 in Raleigh, North Carolina, presented by LaSheera Lee. It was truly a great time of fun, books, authors and readers gathering and enjoying each other's company.
Above: With Author Reese Ryan, Author Vanessa Riley and Literary Event Planner, Angela Anderson.
I had a good supply of books and nearly sold out of them all. Baked With Love, Bae Watch, Royal, Ramsey, Romulus, Different Tastes, Secrets On Lake Drive and more!
One of the highlights of these two days was to experience a book reading from the Beverly Jenkins, reading from her novel, Deadly Sexy, which has been made into a movie. You can watch the movie trailer here.
When I first began my writing journey, I never knew it would lead me down a road to meet such an amazing group of readers and authors. And I was truly honored at this event to receive the 'Girl You Should Have Told Me' Award, an award that honors me for writing stories that you wish someone would've told you about sooner! Super awesome.
This is the second award of my writing career and it just confirms to me that this is what I'm supposed to be doing. Writing!

#TeaserTuesday - Watching His Bae
Enjoy this mini-excerpt from my new novella, Bae Watch, coming July 16, 2018. *Excerpt is unedited and subject to change*
Kenzo took a sip of beer. Just like he’d set up a good spot to watch her earlier when he was on the beach, this evening he found a nice lookout point at a tucked away table in the oceanside restaurant which provided a good view to where Kira was sitting. There’s no way she could see him from this far away and that’s what he wanted – time to watch her be her.
She was still as beautiful as the day they’d met. The hanging, overheard deck lights gave her skin a soft glow that highlighted the smooth chocolate skin he always loved. Her black hair was crimpled. She loved wearing it loose and free and he loved seeing it that way – used to love playing in it. She had on a lime green beach dress that was cut low enough to show a small amount of cleavage and long enough to cover her ankles. She was always classy with her sexiness. The only time she showed a significant amount of skin was when she was wearing a swimsuit. As hot as it was in South Carolina in July, people probably wore swimsuits around the house.
He saw her stretch, then she checked her phone and smiled. He wished he knew what bought the expression of happiness to her face. Wish he knew what was going on in her life at this particular moment. But he didn’t know a thing. He’d been watching her on the beach for two days now without her knowledge, and since she was alone tonight and appeared relaxed after sipping on a mango daiquiri, he decided that now was the perfect time to get reacquainted.
Coming July 17, 2019 to Kindle, Kindle Unlimited and Paperback.
