New Releases in #Scifi and #Fantasy Romance for Wednesday November 30

star-survivorsfinalIt was suggested I add hashtags to the title to help readers find this post on social media. We’ll try it for a couple of weeks and see what we think…

I have not read most of the new releases listed (although I always end up one-clicking a bunch as I prepare these posts LOL) and as always I recommend sampling before you buy!

It’s a mix of the genres in no particular order. Also the term “new” is generally plus or minus a week or two. And I catch up on ones I missed in recent months.

(NOTE: I...

Star Cruise: Thanksgiving A Short Story

016

One of my favorite representations of the Pilgrims, on a vintage plate

Veronica: I started thinking about when and where Thanksgiving might be celebrated in the far future of my interstellar civilization, the Sectors, and this little story came to mind. I hope you’ll enjoy!

Chef Stephanie leaned back in her desk chair on board the Nebula Zephyr and stretched. Finally a quiet afternoon, now that the last gourmet tour group had departed the ship. Of course there were still thousands of passenge...

Cover Reveal Star Survivor Sequel to Wreck of the Nebula Dream

USA Today Happily Ever After is doing the exclusive cover reveal today for my latest scifi romance novel Star Survivor, which is the long awaited sequel to Wreck of the Nebula Dream! There’s also an exclusive excerpt to go with the cover reveal.

I’m not doing preorders – sorry! – as they can be so nerve wracking – but I expect the book to go live next week at all major ebook retailers and will send out a newsletter and announce it here and well, everywhere LOL.

A tease of the cover and the bl...

Play the Game Weekend Writing Warriors

Warriors logo revisedHere’s the link to the Weekend Writing Warriorscentral page, so you can visit all the participants sharing excerpts today…a fun way to sample new books and find new authors! (Also welcome to the Sunday Snippetvisitors!)

I’ve switched to Trapped on Talonque, which came out in August. Briefly, part of the book is a scifi take on the Sleeping Beauty tale. The story synopsis is after the excerpt.

We’re further on in the story now than we were last week, and Nate has an encounter in a dream with t...

Cara Bristol Talks Writer Inspiration – Day Dreams to History

body-talkVeronica: Cara’s one of my oldest friends in the writing world. We first met doing the one of the weekly snippet blog hops and we’ve since done various interviews, met at an RT Conference and been in the Pets In Space anthology together. She has a new book out, Body Talk, which is a sampler of some of her steamy hot scenes from a variety of books (including 5 scifi romance and one paranormal). Take it away, Cara!

Cara: Readers often ask where an author gets story inspiration. My ideas tend to...
