New blog design, coming soon!
I have someone working on a new blog design for me. Anyone care to vote on which background they prefer? Don’t worry about the fuzzy quality – these are just comp images that I have not yet purchased. Once I decide which one to go with, I will have the high resolution image for them to use (without watermarks!) Feel free to comment below.

Why indies love their indie readers!
I'm so excited to be a part of this "Indie Revolution" in books these days. I'm just a newbie, compared to guys like Hugh Howey, who has sold hundreds of thousands of copies of his science fiction short stories and novels.
Here's a super cool post from his blog, where he talks about "Crowdsourced Fiction". Readers of indie novels are a special breed. They connect with the writers in a more intimate way, helping to improve our work.

War of the Fae: Update!
Hello friends. I'm stopping by the blog for a quicky update, since I've yet to meet my daily goal for words written on my current book, which happens to be … WAR OF THE FAE: BOOK 4. Yay! And yes, I'm working over the Easter holidays, for half days. I have fans to appease (and I am oh, so grateful for that!)
Just wanted to let you know that I am 25% done now. Things are looking good. Even I am surprised by what is happening with all of my favorite characters. It is true to say that my characters tell me their story – I merely take dictation.
I can't wait to see what you all think. You cannot imagine the immense pressure I have put on myself trying to be sure to write something you will be haunted by (in a good way) and brag about. Super hugs to all of you who have reached out to me on this blog, Facebook, Twitter and via Email to give me words of encouragement and also to those of you who are telling people you know about my books. You have changed my life!

For those of you who have purchased War of the Fae: Book 3, Darkness & Light, you will find that there is no sneak peek in the back of the book for Book 4. But don't fret! I have included that sneak peek here on the website. Just CLICK HERE to get there. You have to enter the password that's in the back of Book 3 to get on (don't worry, it's not tricky).

War of the Fae: Book 3, PUBLISHED!
As of 10:30 E.S.T., War of the Fae: Book 3, Darkness & Light has been uploaded to Amazon.com for publishing. It usually takes them 6-12 hours to make the title available for purchase. Yay! I'm so excited!
As soon as I see it go live, I will be buying 3 copies for readers who won my giveaway for My Vampire Summer (which is still going on by the way! One of the comments on Amazon doesn't count as a winner because I personally know the commenter, so that means the first 6 people who leave reviews on Amazon for My Vampire Summer qualify for a free copy of War of the Fae: Book 3!)
One thing that's new with this book is that the sneak peek for the next book that I usually put at the end of the book is moving to this website instead. I know, I know, it sounds like a devious plan to get more visitors here, but really it's a just a matter of me not wanting to publish late. I have the book done, but need a couple more days for Chapter 1 of Book 4 to be good enough to read – so I'm publishing Book 3 a day early and putting the sneak peek on the website HERE in a couple days. The page is password protected, but the password is at the end of Book 3, so no worries! Just make sure you spell it right.
I hope you all enjoy Book 3. I can't wait to get your feedback.

Readforyourfuture is a blog dedicated to fighting illiteracy, set up by a media specialist at Franklin High in Middletown, Ohio and supported by teachers and students there. They take book donations, review the books, and then put them in the school library. Check it out!
WRECKED Wrecked the Records
I just want you all to know that the title of this post just gave my editor heartburn. (Sorry Beth.) She hates when I use the same word over and over. Bad habit! Trying to break it!
Back to the news… we just finished a promotion for WRECKED and it went very, very well. Very well. Somebody hold up the roof for me. We had over 15,500 downloads in at least 5 countries/kingdoms that I'm aware of (US, Canada, UK, France, Spain, Italy) — in only two days. We also reached #6 in Amazon's Top 100 Bestsellers. Hopefully this freebie will expand my base of readers. My goal to become a full-time writer by January 2013 could become a reality! Weeeeee!
Now I just need all of you to post your comments and reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, book blogs, Twitter, and your front door if possible. Your car maybe? Desk at work? Anyway, spread the word, however you can. I'm trying to rule the world, and with your help, we might just be able to make it happen. I will then pass a law that says all fae may come out in the open to live in harmony with us.
