Weird Start to November
By now I’m sure you all know I don’t get my previous month’s wrap-up post done until the second Saturday of the month…so it’ll be up next week. Ooh, bet you can hardly wait, huh? Hahahaha 😎
Anyway, horror of horrors, I scheduled a flu shot for myself on Halloween 👻 night. No line, which wasn’t surprising 😆 And we had a total of 3 trick or treaters and we bought 2 bags of candy…I tried not to eat it, but damn Snickers bars.

Saturday Surprise — Halloween or my least favorite holiday
Hey all! Sorry about the lack of a post last week. I spent most of the day in bed because I felt like crap. Not Covid, just a cold thing. I’m better but still cranky — haha.
Halloween: love the candy, hate the pressure to dress up and/or decorate. Even when my kiddos were little, I was the “why don’t we just BUY a costume” parent, while Mr. James went above and beyond creating fantastic costumes, starting when our oldest was only 2 years old. MUST WATCH TV!!
First off, THANK YOU everyone who commented last week! I love reading what you’ve all been up to. WOWZA, lots of birthdays, retirements, canning, cooking and preserving food stuff, sending kids to school and off to college…and I hated hearing how many of you are suffering with a viral illnesses — including this new strain of COVID. I’m thankful with my various travels and being around a few people who tested positive that no one in our household has been affected (KNOCK WOOD)

September Saga — Monthly Wrap-up and a contest!
Cooler weather…what’s that? Been warm here in western South Dakota. The leaves started to change and we’ve had cooler nights, but we’re still warm or even hot during the day. Heck I still have my air conditioning on! Maybe it’s the hot flashes? haha
September brought some challenges. Everything turned out mostly good, but one thing on the personal front didn’t come to pass but I’ve accepted that it’s something unlikely to change. Anyway, the month was super busy with travel and a couple of event...
