Saturday Surprise — Dusting off the Dehydrator (Again)

First off, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART for all of the awesome comments and offers of support last week after my post about my recent struggles with this writing career.

I do want to clarify one thing, though: I’m NOT giving up writing. I’m just in the “pivot” stage, figuring out what is next for me. The post was also a way to let my readers/followers know which series would be affected. At this time I will have 2 releases for sure in 2021 — I just can’t talk about them at this time

Saturday snuck up on me and I didn’t have anything planned for this week’s blog post because honestly…it’s been a shit week and I’ve sort of holed up and tried to ignore that the world is both melting and burning. So I’ve watched A LOT of hockey — like damn near every game. My Avs made it to the second round so I will be glued to the TV again this week, watching them kick ass.

I think this last birthday hit me harder than I’m willing to admit. I’m not as young as I used to be — cliched but true ...

JULY was a whirlwind for us. Our girls and their families were home, we had a wedding in the midst of a pandemic, we headed to Texas to drop off the newlywed’s gifts since their car is small and friends and family were very generous!
