VEGAS!
Oh, y’all...
I went to museums. I shopped. I went to shows. I climbed a zillion stairs. I made Kari Lynn Dell for supper. I saw Tim McGraw. I ate chocolate with coconut ash in it.
I came home with a new m/f werewolf novel, a new m/m contemporary idea, a new m/m historical and a suitcase full of dirty clothes.
:D
I missed you!
Much love, y’all.

Six Sentence Sunday -- Better than a Memory (m/m cont WIP)
Curtis chucked. “Rick tore Sam’s pants off. There was a small food fight in concessions and someone won a huge duck in the arcade.”
The big-as-a-saint bernard, tie-dyed, googly eyed duck was sitting, right there.
“All that while I was in the bathroom?” Jenson said. “Y’all are a busy bunch.”
;-)
Much love, y’all!

Authors I Love: Mel Schroeder
So, Mel.
I can’t remember why we met, but I imagine it was the perfect storm of Twitter and Authors after Dark.
It doesn’t really matter, does it?
Mel the real-life-person tickles the shit out of me and I’ve never once seen her be evil to any. She’s approachable and dear (and, I admit, fine as frog hair).
I met her before I read her, and I never have regretted once sucking her books dry like a reading vampire (a literary vampire? a word vampre? pooh… a WORDpire. I like it). I am an unabashed fan of the Santini books, not least of all because she writes San Antonio in a way that a hard-core Texas that has been there too many times too count could go… YES! YES, THAT! Her heroines make me smile, the brothers Santini (and yes, that’s how they’re called in my head) are hot as hell and real men.
I love them.
Not as much as I adore the writer, but close.
http://www.melissaschroeder.net — go. read. you’ll thank me.
Much love, y’all.

I don't feel any older...
No, really.
Had a lovely birthday last week and I’m going to stretch it out into this week, too, as Miss J got me plane tickets to Vegas to see Tim McGraw.
*HAPPY SQUEALS*
We leave Wednesday and head home Saturday and it should be a trip of legends. :D
Legends, I tell you.
And I can’t wait.

Six Sentence Sunday -- Better Than a Memory (m/m, WIP)
He reached out, their fingers twining together and for a second his heart stopped. Just stopped. This was his Mr. Right. His own. His Jen. The sound of the car starting jerked him out of it.

Much love, y’all.

What I'm Working on This Week
Been a nice writing week, really.
Active Writing:
Better as a Memory (m/m, cont) — More crying. Stupid boys.
Mick's Pups (m/m/m werewolves) — I’d taken a break from these boys, but they’re back.
Coke/Dillon & Andy/Jason novel — O.o
On hold:
m/m/f novel (co-write with Julia) -- fun, sexy menage. This one doesn't have a home or a deadline, so it keeps getting pushed back. I need to get this one open, or it's going to die.
In edits/rewrites:
Stripper kitties in rewrites.
Next week's plan?
I’m going to Vegas.
:D
Much love, y'all.

Much love, y’all.
