To answer some questions…

A lot of you are asking the same questions so I thought I’d answer them here…

What am I working on in 2014?

First up is Avenger. I’m working on it now, but I’ve been sick and suffering from really bad headaches. But I assure you this is my next book and I’m going to try my hardest to have it to you guys in February. Just be patient with me. It’s coming. Writing this book is going to be really hard for me. This will mean I’m ending 3 books series in a row, and Caeden and Sophie’s first book might have come out in 2012 but they’ve been with me WAY longer than that. I’m so sad to be finishing their story. Hold me.

Also, I’ve decided I’m no longer going to do 2 books full of extras. It’s just way too time consuming. (Rewriting scenes from another character’s POV takes forever) However, I will be writing a few more extras and releasing them on here like I have in the past. So, you’ll still get some extras.

Defier-Nolan’s book

This book is kind of up in the air at this point. I still  want to write it, but it’s not begging to be written. So, we’ll see if it happens. At this point, it’s not likely.

So…after Avenger is Trent’s book Tempting Rowan (cover reveal coming soon). I’m hoping to release this book in late April. If I keep getting sick/dealing with these horrible headaches that might get pushed to May.

After Tempting Rowan…I’m not telling.

I do have a book idea, one I’ve had for about 5 years that I finally feel like I could write. It would be a darker story and WAY different from my other stuff. I’m not 100% decided on it yet, so this is all I’m going to say for now.

After that…who knows?

In regards to the Trace + Olivia series…. Avery and Luca are NOT getting a book. I tried, guys. I tried really hard to give them a book and I just couldn’t do it. I don’t feel connected to Avery and Luca, besides their story really wrapped up in Chasing Olivia (read the Christmas special under the Finding Olivia extras tab for even more on Avery and Luca) I started a book for them and I couldn’t make it go. I’m incredibly flattered that so many of you want a book for them but I can’t force a book if it’s just not there. You will see them in Trent’s book though!

Indie Girl Con

As most of you know, I’m attending Indie Girl Con February 21-22nd. This will be my first signing (cue freaking out) and I’m nervous/crazy excited to finally get to meet some of you. For those of you that don’t know what Indie Girl Con is, it’s a 2 day signing in Charleston, SC organized by authors Melissa Andrea and Tabatha Vargo. It’s going to be AWESOME. The reason I’m writing this today is because I wanted to let you guys know that the ONLY books I’m selling at the signing will be Finding and Chasing Olivia. I’m driving, but I just don’t have enough room to bring all my books and I figure with Kim and Luke being there, that’ll be the book everyone wants anyway.

Since I understand that a lot of you are flying to the event and can’t bring books with you there, here’s what I’m going to do…

(ONLY DO THIS IF YOU’RE ATTENDING THE EVENT) you can also order copies of Finding and Chasing Olivia if you want to guarantee you get a copy. I’ll even take orders for posters (images below) because I won’t be taking many of those. After you let me know which book(s) and/or poster(s) you want, I will send you an invoice. (I am offering discounts if you buy more than one book in a series, when you email me feel free to ask for the price list before you make a decision) Once your invoice is paid, the book is yours and will be available for you to pick up at the event. When you come to my table PLEASE tell me that you preordered and your name, because it will be on a sticky note inside your book(s) in a separate location from the books I’m selling at my table. Also, Avenger (4th book in the Outsider Series) will NOT be available for preorder for this event. Even if by some miracle I manage to release it before this event, it won’t allow me enough time to get paperbacks. Super Exciting Chasing Olivia News

*grins* I have awesome news.

As if you hadn’t already figured that out from the title of this post, but whatever…

So…

There are going to be TWO Chasing Olivia paperbacks. Yes, you read that right. TWO.

One paperback is the cover you’ve all seen. The other, is a completely different one. It’s actually the original cover, but I changed it to the cover you all know and love because I felt it was important for them to be in the car. BUT the picture on this cover inspired a scene in the book.

SPOILER…(highlight below to view which scene. If you haven’t read Chasing Olivia, then don’t do it! Don’t I tell you!)

“Trace!” I exclaimed, causing people in the parking lot to turn our way. “What are you doing?”

“Carrying you over the threshold,” he responded, heading towards the sliding glass doors that led into the hotel.

“I don’t think it counts as a threshold unless we’re home.”

“Well, we’ll just have to repeat the whole process over when we get back,” he chuckled, his lips brushing dangerously close to mine as he spoke. My eyes fluttered closed at the feel of the feather light touch.

As you can see, this one has a completely different “feel” to it. Originally, this was just going to be printed so I could have some copies, since this cover is special to me because of that scene. But I’ve decided to make it available for everyone. It didn’t seem fair to keep it to myself *pets the precious*

Trace and Olivia Christmas Special!

I wrote this scene for fun. I had hoped to have it posted yesterday but it turned out to be a very long scene. I have to say, it was so much fun to write. Even though I just finished and released Chasing Olivia I’ve been missing Trace + Olivia so much. I loved getting to write this scene for you guys and I hope you enjoy it. It is full of MAJOR SPOILERS if you haven’t finished Chasing Olivia yet, so please wait till you’re done reading that to read this. It’s not going anywhere, it will stay posted on the extras page. I also hope to write some scenes from Chasing from Trace’s POV and post them over the next few weeks. Plus, there’s scene from Finding that I still need to write. I know a lot of you are curious about Trent’s book. I’m not releasing the blurb yet (sorry!) but here’s what I’m going to say about it.

The title is Tempting Rowan.

While I call it Trent’s story, that’s only because he’s the hero of the book. It is very much Rowan’s book and I’m planning to tell it completely from her POV. I’m so excited about Tempting Rowan and can’t wait to start working on it full time (Avenger is first, Outsider fans!). It is going to be a different book from Finding/Chasing Olivia and once the blurb is revealed you’ll see that.

Yes, Trace and Olivia will make an appearance in Tempting Rowan. I don’t know how much they’ll be in the book, but they’ll be in there at some point.

 

That’s all I can say for now. I can’t wait to let you guys know more about Trent and Rowan’s story.
