Beauty in the Ashes Cover Reveal sign up!
Yep, it’s that time again! Time for a cover reveal! Before I get into all that, here’s some info about Beauty in the Ashes (BitA for short)
This book is WAY out of my comfort zone of what I write. It’s darker. It’s sexier. It’s different. There’s romance, sure, but it’s not really a romance book. It’s a journey of saving yourself when you think everything is lost. I know this book won’t be for everyone, that’s fine. This book, like all my books, is for me–and I love that I have the opportunity to share these crazy stories in my head with you. I have been trying to write BitA for well over five years now. It scares me, to put it bluntly. It pushes me and challenges me as a writer–but how can I grow without pushing my limits?
This book is NOT New Adult. Yes, the characters are close to that age category, but they’re out of college, and struggling with what comes after you’ve finished school. So, real life.
I would categorize this book a a Dark Contemporary Romance.
You know me, so I don’t want you to think that this book is going to be depressing and blah through the whole thing. In fact, I think Sutton might be my funniest character ever. She’s got quite the sense of humor and could easily compete with Trace (if you’ve read my Trace + Olivia series) or Bryce (Outsider series). I’ve often caught myself laughing out loud at her ridiculous thoughts.
Basically, this book will be new territory for me and I hope y’all will support me on this journey. :)
BitA will be a standalone with the possibility for a spinoff(s).
Some stories are a fairytale…but this isn’t one.
Caelan Gregory’s life fell apart the night he went home and opened the door to find his whole family murdered. Since then, his life has held no meaning. He’s angry. He’s bitter. He’s barely human anymore. There’s nothing left to remind him of the straight A student, and football quarterback he once was…but he wasn’t a good person then, and he’s certainly not a good person now. He’s retreated into a world where all that exists is numbness and his passion for painting.
When Sutton Hale moves into the apartment across the hall from Caelan she’s not prepared for her reaction to him. Something in his broken blue eyes calls to her—after all she’s always had an irrational need to fix everything.
But Caelan doesn’t do relationships or feelings. He does drugs and alcohol. However, he can’t ignore his desire to get to know the raven-haired woman across the hall.
Two broken souls trying to mend one another.
But not everything can be fixed.
In the end, Caelan and Sutton will have to learn that there is beauty in the ashes.

Yeah, I’m totally freaking out.
I feel like Tempting Rowan is a bit of a departure form my other stuff. I can’t tell you enough how much I loved writing this book. Trent and Row have quite a journey and I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.
To answer a couple of questions:
Are Trace and Olivia in Tempting Rowan? Of course!
Are Avery and Luca getting a book? No. No. No. They are not getting a book. I NEVER planned to give them a book. Because so many of you begged for a book for these two, I did try. I just couldn’t do it though, and I won’t force myself to write a book that my heart isn’t invested in. Those two have enough drama to deal with in Finding and Chasing Olivia, without me dumping a whole mountain on them to give them their own book. Remember, check out the extras page. There’s a special Christmas scene there and it gives you a small peek at Avery and Luca. And you do see them briefly in Tempting Rowan.
Will there be any more books in the Trace + Olivia series? Yes! More info on this coming after Tempting Rowan’s release. This book focuses on a NEW couple. Not Trace and Olivia or Trent and Row.

Also, a little update. Because I got so behind while writing Avenger, I’ve been hard at work writing and editing Tempting Rowan so that I can start Beauty in the Ashes soon. This has caused me to get behind in answering my emails from you guys and I’m terribly sorry for that. Once editing is done I’ll be reading all your wonderful emails and responding! They always put a smile on my face! I love y’all!
