Lost Authors: WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Help! No, I'm not lost, but it seems that I've lost some authors. I'm a slightly OCD list maker when it comes to reading. I have color coded lists by author, series name, pre-ordered, TBR, etc. But sometimes, even after looking on author websites, publisher websites, GoodReads, Fantastic Fiction, and other sites, I just can't find out if an author is coming up with a new book or if their site is gone completely. So I'm here asking for help. If you know what's going on with an author let us know.
I always have this horrible feeling that one day, an author will pass away and we won't know about it. I feel like when I read their words that I get closer to them, even through their characters. I'd hate to think that they'd be lost and I wouldn't know it. I don't know why, but that bothers me.I know life intercedes, authors change lives, and I totally get that. But I just wanted to know and others wanted to know as well.
Okay here it goes:
Anna Windor:
I love her paranormals. I've been to her site, and can't find it updated. I'd love to know if she has more books on the way and if she's okay. Yes, I worry.
Lisa Kleypas:
I know she's doing her contemporary series now that I LOVE. Anyone heard anything about her historicals?
Denise Belinda McDonald:
Love her westerns. Anyone heard any updates?
Charlene Teglia:
Anyone heard about her Shadow Guardians series?

Linda Winfree:
I can't seem to find her website anymore
That's all I have for now. I love these authors and would love to know if you'd heard anything about those series I mentioned LOL. Also, if you have an author you need help finding book information on, put it in the comments and I'll update the post.

Autumn's Harvest: Bring on the Books!!

I love reading when it's cold outside. I'm odd like that I suppose. No? I'm not odd? I'm normal? Okay, I'll take it. I don't know what it is, but as soon as it gets slightly colder, I'm ready to curl up with a good book. Yes, I read every day, no matter the weather. Think of me like the mailwoman of reading. (Get it, rain, sleet, or snow? What? It's not funny? Whatever LOL.)
But as soon as the trees start to turn and we get a fire going, I'm ready to curl up and read a romance. I'm a fan of the sweet romances, the Nora Roberts and Susan Mallerys, when it gets colder out. I just like thinking of family, romance, reading a good book, and getting warm. What about you? What's your go to Autumn book?
If you're looking for a Go-To book that people have told me they couldn't put down, try out my latest, ENFORCER'S REDEMPTION:

A Post from Bay from ENFORCER'S REDEMPTION

It’s odd coming into the Pack as an outsider. I think it’s even harder coming into a series where you, the readers don’t know me. But I’m here to tell you a little bit about me.I’m Bay Milton, the heroine of ENFORCER’S REDEMPTION. I haven’t been in another book before this so people don’t really know me. That’s okay because at least you don’t have an expectations of me. What? Do I hear laughter?Yes, of course you have expectations. I was supposed to be the one to HEAL Adam. Did I do it? I hope so, but really, Adam needed to heal himself. He’s been through so much and I’m doing all I can to make sure he’s himself. But you know what I figured out? I’m also saving myself. Just like he’s saving me.I fell for those Jamenson green eyes and that honey skin the moment I saw him. And OMG ladies, his tattoo? Well, that’s just for me. His wolf loves my wolf and I love it.You don’t know much about me because I’m new. I get that. I’d like to say I’m the kick ass heroine in black leather, boots with too high heels that make no practical sense other than they make me look damn sexy, and own a sword to behead my enemies.Yeah, that’s not me.But I’m a werewolf. Never forget that. I’m strong. I’ve been through more than anyone knows and if you come near my new family, I’ll hunt you. I’m stronger than you.Remember that.

An Interview with Bay and Adam from ENFORCER'S REDEMPTION

I’m sitting here on my patio, watching the leaves fall to the ground as winter starts to take Autumn away and I’m trying to stay strong. You see, I’m about to interview Bay and Adam. These two took everything out of me to write and I don’t think I’m ready. They tore into me, broke through my shields, and showed me that I’m stronger than I thought. Yet I feel like I’m not ready to share them with you. Because no matter what I went through, they went through more. *takes a deep breath* Okay then. Here I am. I’m ready to share their story. As ready as I’ll ever be.
Carrie Ann: Welcome you two, I’m so pleased that I could get you guys to sit down with me.
Adam: *kisses Carrie Ann’s temple* We know you need us to help get out story out, we’re here for you.
Bay: What he means is we’re here for you because we want to be as well.Adam: *raises brow*
Carrie Ann: I don’t know exactly where to start, so I’m just going to jump right in with the hard question. Is Anna still in the middle of your mating? *braces self*
Adam: *gives a small smile* She’s not in the middle, but she’s there.
Bay: *leans into Adam’s side and he relaxes* She will always be there, I don’t want to forget her, but she’s not in the way or in the middle.
Carrie Ann: *lets out a sigh* I’m sorry for asking, but it’s been bothering me. Okay, so I’ve been hearing rumblings that Adam, you’re an ass, care to defend yourself?
Adam: I am one. At least I was daily. *sighs and rubs his eyes* I’m doing everything in my power to make it up to my family and Bay, I don’t know how I ever will though.
Bay: Hey, you’re forgiven, you know that. Grief tends to make people into asses and you saved us.
Adam: *shakes his head* I haven’t done enough.
Carrie Ann: Okay, I’ll leave this question as is so we don’t spoil it for others. Tell me, what was your first impression of each other?
Adam: Sexy as hell.
Bay: Lonely.
Carrie Ann: God, I love you Bay, you’re so honest.
Bay: I have to be. I’m not hiding anymore.
Adam: *kisses her temple then her lips* You don’t have to anymore.
Carrie Ann *sighs* Okay, what’s next in the war with the Centrals?
Adam: We’re going to kill them.
Bay: They need to be ended. Now.
Adam: *turns to Bay* I like this bloodthirsty side of you.
Bay: *grins* I learned from the best.
Carrie Ann: *clears throat* Okay, so I know something big happened in ENFORCER’S REDEMPTION. Okay, TONS of big things happened, but you know which one I’m talking about. Are you okay?
Adam & Bay:  We will be.
Carrie Ann: I know you will be. You’re tougher than I ever thought possible. Thank you so much for coming here and next time I have you down for an interview, we’ll have a fun post about ice cream and sexual positions. I promise.
Adam: Fuck yeah.
Bay: *rolls eyes* Great, now you got him started. Just read the book to see who we are. I promise we don’t bite…well unless you ask.

An Excerpt from Enforcer's Redemption

The scent of ice and berries filled Adam's nose. He loved the way it made him feel at home, like he belonged. A warm body lay flush against him, and he smiled. His Anna. She'd come home. He rested his hands on the swell of her belly, feeling their child. He inhaled that ice and berries scent again as the fog lifted, and he froze.     His Anna did not smell of those things. No, his Anna smelled of oranges and cinnamon. He cracked open his eyes, ignoring the dull throb in his temples and behind his eyelids, and bit back a curse. Bay lay snuggled in his side, and his erection strained his jeans, rubbing against her. He stopped the movement of his hips and bit back another curse. Flashes of the night before came back to him. Images of Maddox dragging him back to his home and throwing him on the bed mixed with images of the red-haired stranger taking care of him.      She whimpered in her sleep, and instinctively he cradled her face with his hand to quiet her. She rubbed her cheek against his palm and quieted, her body sinking into his like it had a right to be there.

A Message from Adam from the Redwood Pack

Who am I supposed to be? You know me as Adam Jamenson from the Redwood Pack. You know me as the Enforcer, the man and wolf who’s duty it is to protect that Pack. But do you really know me?Damn, I sound so fucking emo right now I’m pissing myself off. Sorry about that. I’m better now that I have Bay. Believe me. But I wasn’t always this way. I went through twenty years of guilt, depression, and grief.Twenty God damn years.I’d fooled most of my family in thinking that I’d moved on. That I’d grown and been okay with the fact that I’d lost my mate, Anna.I’d even learned not to flinch when others said her name. But inside, it was as if someone had stabbed me with a hot poker and twisted, the icy-hot pain shooting up my sides, bleeding into every inch of my body. That’s how it was for twenty years.Yet I’d fooled them all. Then my brothers started to find their mates. I tried to be happy. I did. But watching them mess up and almost loose them, only to reclaim that love killed me. I couldn’t get Anna and our baby back from my mistake. No, I’d lost them.My child would have been twenty now.And yet I never met her.I’m better now. It still hurts, but I’m better. Bay is everything to me but I almost lost her as well because of my own insecurities. When you read our story, remember that I love her. Remember that I’m trying with each breathe I take and that she’s worth everything and more to me.Remember that.

Another look at ENFORCER'S REDEMPTION

A crash from the living room brought Bay out of a fitful sleep. She pulled herself to a sitting position, her belly getting in the way. Someone mumbled a curse, and she inhaled their scent.     Adam and Maddox.     A very drunk Adam and a slightly inebriated Maddox.     Oh, goody, just what she needed; a drunken wolf who probably didn’t know she was in his   bed and wanted her nowhere near him. Oh, what fun.     She pulled down the extra-large shirt she wore so it hit her mid-thigh even over her belly and waddled out to the living room, her ankles aching with each step. When she got out to the living room, she shook her head. Maddox had Adam draped over his shoulders and a sheepish expression on his face.     “Sorry, Bay. Didn’t mean to wake you,” Maddox said as he carried a very drunk Enforcer past her and into the bedroom.     “What happened?” It was like déjà vu. The first time she’d seen Adam he’d been drunk, and here he was again. Was this something he did often?     Maddox dropped Adam on the bed and shook his head. “Drank too much.”     “I guessed that, but why?”     Maddox turned to her with so much emotion in his eyes that she almost staggered from the weight of it. All of that couldn’t be just him. How on earth did he live like that as the Omega?     “He’s had a long day,” he said simply, and Bay under her breath.

What people are saying about ENFORCER'S REDEMPTION:
"Carrie Ann Ryan is the ultimate in paranormal romance authors....Again I say I am mad at Carrie Ann(not really, but I have to tie her up in knots the way she did me with this book!)! I loved this book so much and she had me in knots the entire time I read this book....Adam has just become my absolute favorite of the Jamenson boys and I want you to go out and grab up this book right now(but only if you’ve read the first three books so you can fully grasp Adam’s turmoil and pain!). It is 5 million book worthy (though on here I can only give it a 5 Book rating) and full of redemption and possible second chances. You’ll get so completely wrapped up in finding out what happens to Bay, Adam and the Redwoods that before you know it, you’ll be at the end with tears streaming down your face. I won’t tell you whether Adam does get his happy ending or not, but I will tell you that Carrie Ann kills you throughout the book and the ending…well it’s a shocker for sure!!! I can’t wait to see what Carrie Ann has in store for the other Jamenson’s….I just hope I don’t have to wait too long to find out!"
-A Five (million) Book Review - Reviews by Molly
" I cried. I usually do look at that a a positive thing when I read, but in this case, it totally was. I was so completely immersed in this story that I felt what the characters felt. BLOWN AWAY!"
- 5 Stars Dephina's Book Reviews
"I give Book 4 in the Redwood Pack series, Enforcer’s Redemption 5 out of 5, this series alone has me on the edge of my seat but this installment was one of the more complex ones in the series. I can see Carrie Ann’s writing growing with each page and book."

Special Answers and Insights to The Redwood Pack!

Howdy! I’ve been getting a few questions over the Redwood Pack series and I thought I’d answer them! If you have any more, put them in the comments section and I’ll make another post in the future! Thanks!Q) Hi! What’s up with Maddox does he ever get a mate? A) Yes, Maddox will get a mate. I promise! I know you’ve seen him lurking around in every book since A Taste for a Mate , and it’s time for him to be happy, don’t you think? Well, his story will be told in Shattered Emotions , out in Spring 2013!Q) Does Hannah ever have any kids? A) This one I can’t answer right away. I think Josh, Reed, and Hannah have some more things to do before their blessed. But that story will be told in Blurred Expectations , out in Jan 2013Q) Does Adam have any kids?A) Hmm…you may have to read Enforcer’s Redemption to find out. Q) Ok here is one If Adam and Anna were mates and I know mates mate for life then how come he was able to mate with Bay?A) This one could be answered in any of the previous books actually. In the Redwood Pack world, even though mates are predestined, that doesn’t mean that they’re the ONLY mate for them. Yes, even werewolves have options and can make mistakes. Remember in An Alpha’s Path , Kade had the option with another woman, but chose Melanie instead? Well, Fate has allowed Adam to have another mate, though I don’t think Adam was quite ready for it.As for mistakes, yes those do happen. And I will mention that in the future, one huge mistake will be made.Q) Why did you decide not to do a twin sandwich with Ellie? (say only Maya and Marie)Who says I haven’t? But no, North and Maddox will have separate books, which one of them ends up with Ellie, if either of them, is another story. But I didn’t see them as a ménage. They’re too different, even for twins to share. Plus, I’m one of those people who like their ménages where everyone is together, so that wouldn’t work.Plus, as I read others, the whole family sharing a woman thing gets little creepy. The only authors I’ve seen to it justice is Maya Banks and Marie Harte. (Though I may just not have read the others.)Q) Are you going to Cailin Jamenson story plz?Yep, Cailin will be getting a story. You haven’t met her mate yet, but he’ll be showing up soon. But as we know with all Jamensons, it’s not going to be easy. I will say that her book will be the last book, so it’s going to be a heart breaker.Q) Which of these hunky boys are gonna come up here to cuddle with me this winter??? LOL! Well, since most of them are mated and the others are brooding at the moment, I’m not sure. But I’m sure there is a hunky man near you to do the job LOLQ) Will there be more novellas with glimpses of past couple just like A night Away??? YES! I have definite plans (plots) for three of them. One being Blurred Expectations out in January. There will also be another one, Forgiveness, out after Shattered Emotions. Then there will be another one after North’s book, Hidden Destiny. There will also most likely be one more after Cailin’s story, Fighting Fate. I enjoy going back and seeing what’s going on with couples we already know.Q) Do u have any more pairs planned like in trinity bound?? A) No, there aren’t any more ménages in the Redwood Pack series. However, there are three in the Dante’s Circleseries, plus at least one in a special, super sekrit, not yet announced series. Tee heeQ) Will all the brothers be mated eventually??A) Yes, all the brothers will be mated.Q) What about the children? Will you write their stories.A) Not in the Redwood Pack series………..

Fresh Friday Reads: ME!!! oh and those other books that I LOVE

Howdy!!!! What have you read this week!? I went a bit crazy and oh yeah, ENFORCER'S REDEMPTION is now out!!!

Enforcer's Redemption - Carrie Ann Ryan

Adam Jamenson has suffered through the worst loss known to man. The only reason he lives day-to-day is to ensure the safety of his Pack. As the Enforcer of the Redwood Pack, it is his job to protect all in his path, though he was unable to protect the ones he held dear. The war with the Centrals is heating up and Adam must try and grit through it in order to survive. Though the broken man inside of him may not want to…
Bay Milton is a werewolf with a past. And a secret. She’s met the Redwood’s Enforcer only once, but it left a lasting effect. Now she needs to find him or everything he had thought he lost, may be lost again.
Together, they must struggle and find a way to fight their pasts and present in order to protect their future. But the Centrals have a plan that might make their path one of loss and destruction.

Shadow - Laurann Dohner

Beauty resents being labeled Gift Species. Everyone is way too overprotective, males aren’t even allowed to speak to her and so far true freedom eludes her. Then a big, sexy Species officer mistakes her for the enemy and takes her to the ground.

Shadow is dumbfounded. He has a Gift pinned under him—a big no-no. But Beauty is fascinated and wants to know Shadow a lot better. She is full of newly discovered, unrequited passion and he’s just what she needs to satisfy her curiosity.

For Shadow, sex means pain and revulsion. For Beauty, it was enslavement and ridicule. Two lonely souls who have never known a lover’s touch, together in a cabin in the woods. Each touch, every discovery brings them closer to a life they never thought possible…beyond even their dreams.

Shadow Rising - Yasmine Galenorn

We’re the D’Artigo sisters: savvy half-human, half-Fae ex-operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. My sister Camille is a wicked-good witch with three sexy husbands. My sister Delilah is a two-faced werecat and Death Maiden. And me? I’m Menolly, a jian-tu turned vampire in love with a wildly hot werepuma. Unfortunately, life is about to get very, very nasty…

Nerissa and I can’t decide on what we want to do for our promise ceremony and we’re bickering like an old married couple. My sisters and I head to Otherworld for a meeting with Queen Asteria. Once there, we discover that Shadow Wing has dispatched Telazhar—a malevolent necromancer—to reignite the Scorching Wars. And as soon as we return back home, we find Gulakah, the Lord of Ghosts, waging a battle to control the magical beings over Earthside. Caught between two terrible enemies in a battle spanning two worlds, we can only hope we’re in time to stop all-out annihilation.

Damek's Redemption - NJ Walters

Myths and legends are more than just passing interests for Sonia Agostino. She holds degrees in folklore and anthropology, and she comes from a family of Keepers, humans charged with helping paranormal creatures survive in the modern world.

Recently, her research—and her intuition—have led her to Chicago’s Inhibitions nightclub. Its enigmatic owner, known only as Damek, could be the one paranormal creature she has never seen. A vampire. Except he won’t see her.

Damek has good reason to refuse an audience with Sonia. One look at her and his gut reaction is she’s a serious threat to the simple, highly disciplined routine that keeps his bloodlust in check. Worse, she has unwittingly led vampire hunters far too close for comfort.

Yet when she stubbornly shows up at the nightclub a second time, he cannot refuse her. The force of their attraction explodes with erotic power—and danger.
