Cover Reveal & Excerpt: ASTARTE'S WRATH by Trisha Wolfe

I LOVE Cover Reveals!!! And what makes today's reveal even better is that I'm revealing the cover for one of my best friends/critique partners/blog sister/agency sister/soul sister (that's a lot of slashes)

Trisha Wolfe simply rocks. Her writing is always action-packed and fast faced, her heroes completely swoon and sigh worthy, and her heroines kick so much butt that the term passive protagonist is shot to Hades. Ms. Wolfe doesn't have time for weak women, and as a result I always end up...

Spotlight Review & Giveaway: FEATHERMORE by Lucy Swing

When the one thing you live for is taken from you, do you let it go or do you fall?

Life takes a turn for the better when she meets Avan, a darkly handsome new student who, somehow, seems to drown out the voice and make her feel at ease.

But Jade soon comes to realize that good things don't last forever. When everything spirals out of control, she is shattered by something she never saw coming. Dazed and despairing, she must now overcome tragedy and embrace her true existence and a new but...

Imagination: Isn't It A Wonderful Thing? Chatting with Lucy Swing

I'm so excited because today my girl Lucy Swing is here, the awesomesauce author of FEATHERMORE, and we're chatting about something we all know a little about....imagination.

You know, that thing that got us all in trouble for daydreaming in school? That thing that keeps us up all night reading and makes us want to try our own hands at this writing gig? Yeah, imagination is a fun little beast, and Ms. Swing has it in spades :)

So get comfy, grab your caffeinated beverage of choice (mine is...

80's Sitcoms and Tempted By Her Innocent Kiss by Maya Banks

I love Fridays, don't you?

It dates back to ABC programming with Full House and Family Matters, but even though those shows are sadly playing on Nick at Night, making me feel extremely old, I still get excited when I hear TGIF.

The beginning of a new weekend, potential date night with the hubs, and a chance to dish about my Guilty Pleasures with you here. Today's Guilty Pleasure is a book that I loved, inhaled, and want to read again. Maya Banks is one of my favorite adult authors, but I...

Cover Reveal & A Peek into MY SUPER SWEET 16th CENTURY

If you've hung around this blog before, you know I love me some cover reveals. In fact, I've spotlighted a ton over the past few weeks, and they've all been absolutely gorgeous and freaking cool, and I've been uber privileged to be a part of their reveals. But I must say, today's reveal has me really really stoked.

Why, might you ask? Well, because today so happens to be the reveal for my debut!

***cue the jazz hands***

YAY! So, here it is...the cover for my upcoming YA debut, MY SUPER...

Lucky 7 Meme: Sneak Peek at Tale Of Two Centuries

I was tagged by Kelly Hashway for the Lucky 7 Meme. Thanks, girl! This is a fun one =)

Here are the rules:

Go to page 77 of your current MS
Go to line 7
Copy down the next 7 lines--sentences or paragraphs--and post them as they're written. No cheating!
Tag 7 authors
Let them know

Like Kelly, I have a slight problem... I don't quite have 77 pages yet in my WIP! So we modified it to be page 7 of your current MS. And here's mine, from TALE OF TWO CENTURIES, my companion novel to MY SUPER SWEET...

PRETTY AMY, by Lisa Burstein

Cover Reveal and Excerpt: Pretty Amy by Lisa Burstein

So much gorgeousness lately with the cover reveals, and today's selection is no exception. It's also coolness personified. From the tagline at the bottom, to the font of the title, to the tulle-rific dress, to the location said dress is in . . . yeah, the cover for PRETTY AMY pretty much kills.

Amy is fine living in the shadows of beautiful Lila and uber-cool Cassie, because at least she's somewhat beautiful and uber-cool by association. But when their dates stand them up for prom, and the...
