Why Rachel Shouldn't Vlog

Morning Everyone!

So, last night I decided to be wacky. Knowing how much the idea of Vlogs freak me out, I decided to attempt one.

By the time I gave up, I'dattemptedseveral of them.

Why do I completely lose my mind when my webcam starts taping?? I've done on camera interviews in the past few months, and all throughout college, and have been totally fine. Yet, my silly webcam starts taping, and every single thing I want to say vanishes from my mind. I'm left rambling, lost, and introducing mysel...

Dreams Come True

Yesterday, I had a dream come true.

How often in life can we say that?

As a kid, I remember dreaming about boys. About being popular. About the tour bus of New Kids on the Block (and later, NSYNC) breaking down near my house and having them all fall madly in love with me (hmm, though that involves boys and would lead to mad popularity, too). Giddy For Fireblood by Trisha Wolfe

So, for those of you don't know, I would suck without my awesome Critique Partners.

True Story.

And it's not just that they happen to be AMAZING Authors who challenge me to be better. And it's not only due to the constant cheerleading and encouragement and sanity they provide. No, I would suck without them because over the last two years, they have become my best friends. And when something awesome happens for them, I get even more excited than if it were happening for me.

And Trisha Wolfe? Yeah...

RT Book Reviews Gives My Super Sweet 16th Century 4 1/2 Stars!

So last week pretty much rocked. I went to Toronto to visit one of my critique partners and best buds, Shannon Duffy, and hung out with my agent of awesome, Lauren Hammond, all weekend. We went to all the hotspots, rode horses, shopped til we dropped, swooned over hot movie men, and danced all night. It was a blast.

Oh, and right before I left? I saw THIS from RT Book Reviews Magazine:

Harris' debut is a knockout. Her characters are charming and wonderfully entertaining, and they're set in a un...
