Waiting on Wednesday (4): Kiss Crush Collide and Of Poseidon

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. As I'm a bookaholic, obviously I adore this MEME, so I'm here today salivating over two of the books in my 'to-read' account over at Goodreads.

This week, my "can't-wait-to-read" pre-publication selection that comes out in December is:

An AWESOME Book For Your To-Read Shelf . . .

He he!

Wednesday night I got a lovely email from Brenna over at Ever After Esther, letting me know that she'd added MY SUPER SWEET SIXTEENTH CENTURY to Goodreads! Of course, I immediately broke out in a pretty snazzy happy dance, complete with my famous jazz hands, that Brenna knew anything about my  book, much less that she was interested enough to put it on there for me.

Yes, lots and giddy squealing commenced. . .

Anyhoo, since then, I've gotten all kinds of official on Goodreads...

Spotlight Review: The Love Goddess' Cooking School by Melissa Senate

I know this is not a YA book, which is what I normally review and discuss here. But I just got done reading this book, and simply had to share.

Yes, the majority of my shelves are filled with young adult books, but I love reading all kinds of books. YA contemporary romance, YA paranormal romance, Adult contemporary romance, YA and Adult historical romance, Adult steamy romance . . . I bet you can see a theme, huh? :-)

I guess it's then fitting that I choose to share this review on what would...

Social Media: Can Anyone Help A Sister Out?

So today marks a new chapter for me . . . again. I woke up at 5:15 this morning and walked for an hour. I think I know the distance, but I really don't care because that's something Old Me would've obsessed over. Made charts and lists and plans to time myself, up my pace, shoot for longer distances, and put all sorts of pressure on myself. Um, yeah, I kinda tend to do that.

The sad thing is that I don't just do it with exercise. I do it with EVERYTHING! I just can't seem to give myself a...

So, yeah, I'm gonna be PUBLISHED!

Wow. Typing those words . . . it still doesn't feel real. I've had a few weeks now to supposedly get used to the idea, but I don't know if I ever really believed it would actually happen. But now I've spoken to my editor and discussed things like cover design, author bios, formats . . . and it's finally sinking in. And my whole body is just like one massive happy goose bump!

Ever since I can remember, I've loved the written word. I was born a bookaholic and made up stories fill my old...
