Rules of War - April pick for Spanking Stories Book Club!

I have good news! Rules of War is the April selection for the Spanking Stories Book Club on Celeste's Jones' blog. When he seated me on the edge of the chair nearest the fireplace and began to stoke the embers of the fire, I kept my eyes cast down. He made me nervous, those same nerves I felt once living under my father’s roof. No, I reminded myself again, not those nerves exactly. William told me I was beautiful so I know it’s not the same. He was nothing like my father though that tension –the tiny feeling of inadequacy I can’t quite shake- was so similar; I shied away from his gaze. Yet at the same time I craved William, his presence completely overwhelmed me.
He moved behind me, seated himself with his legs on either side of my body and pulled me down to him. My back to his front. My heat to his heat. My body to his body. I shivered, wanting nothing more than to be what he wanted me to be. I assured myself my desire to please was different this time. I was already pleasing William. He told me as much and I believed him. After all, I had to believe in something.
His fingers on my shoulders distracted me. “You’re so tense, sweet Aubrey. Won’t you just relax in my arms tonight?”
“I’ll try. I don’t relax often.”
“No, Aubrey. Your answer to me is yes, sir.”
“Yes sir,” the whisper floated from my lips on a sigh. It was such a certain response, it left no room for me to fail or disappoint. I found comfort in the statement and relaxed into his body.
“Good. Well done.” His affirmation bolstered my confidence. I’ve not received many compliments that I can recall and it felt nice. I couldn’t help but smile while the pride at such a simple act made my chest feel tight.
William aligned his body against mine so that I could feel him as part of myself. Then I realized he could feel every inch of me against him. He could feel my imperfections. I tensed, wondering what he’d think of me when he got a closer look. I was no longer overweight but now I was slight and never held any real beauty. When he realized this, my time with him will most likely end.
He molded my shoulders and back with his strong fingers. “Relax into me and let me took care of you,” William tickled my neck with his words and a tiny shiver ran along my spine.
“I thought it would be the other way around.”
I felt his laugh against my neck. “You think too much. Time for thinking was over. Now simply trust in me to take care of you.”
His warmth enveloped me. I was caught in him, absolutely ensnared by all that he was.

A quick hello...and an article in Wellred Weekly

I've been absent from social media lately. I miss everyone and hope to get back to 'normal' soon. I'm trying to finish editing one book, finish writing another, and on and on and on. Oh, and spring break starts on Thursday and my schedule is packed full of visits with family and friends. This is a good thing for Susan, but not for Sue!

Now...onto the second reason for this post! I have an article titled "Spanking Fiction Across Genres" in the latest edition of Wellred Weekly. I talk about my reading habits, how I first found spanking fiction on the Internet, and more...


I'll never forget that first spanking story I found on the Internet. It was summertime and I was 13. I'd finally convinced my parents that we needed the Internet because it would help me with my school work. Ha! Anyway, I found More Than A Man by Carolyn Faulkner and printed it out in secret. I remember I tried to staple the pages together and the darn stapler broke, so I used a hole puncher and a three ring binder to put it together. I must've read it a hundred times that summer. I hid it under my mattress and read it under the covers with a flashlight at night. I did the same thing with a few other stories I found, but that first book is seared into my memory permanently. I also remember spending my allowance money on three ring binders every time we drove into town. I had a very meticulous organization system in place for my treasured spanking stories.  Today I'm sharing a snippet from Rules of Command. This is the companion book to Rules of War. It's basically the same story, but told completely from John's POV. If you've read Rules of War, you know the story is only told from Emma's POV, so John remained much of a mystery at times. Here's a peek inside his head:


A lesson needed to be taught. It was his duty as her husband to deliver that lesson. Perhaps one day her heart would soften to the idea of being disciplined, of accepting his authority. He was not a tyrant. He would never, ever abuse her. Trust would take time, and this first spanking would serve to foster trust. He would be firm with her, but he would also be loving. A good husband always punished with love.

Another Saturday...another Saturday Spankings blog hop!



Today I'm sharing eight sentences from my WIP, Hanna's Awakening. At least I think that'll be the title. Anyway, you might have seen me talking about a kinky Amish story on Facebook and Twitter in recent weeks. This is the story!

Here's the set up for this scene: Ben is a survivalist recluse and most of the townspeople think he's strange, especially since he didn't grow up in the area and no one really knows who he is. He doesn't want anyone to know he's harboring a young woman (Hanna) who just left the Amish community because he doesn't want anyone poking around in their business. He also worries someone might try to take advantage of Hanna, so he insists she call him Daddy when they make a trip to town. Yes, this story is all kinds of kinky.


Though her face reddened and her eyes still blazed, Hanna nodded and said a quick apology to her friends before taking a step toward Ben. Without thinking, he gripped her elbow and guided her out of Tony’s Pizza, not releasing her until they reached the Jeep.

“Young lady, I ought to give you a good spanking for that. I told you in town you needed to do as I say and call me Daddy. I warned you about people trying to take advantage of you. Did you not listen to a word I said? What were you thinking, arguing with me and calling me Mr. Foster in front of the whole restaurant?” He leaned down to scold her, hands braced against the car door on either side of her body, pinning her in place without actually touching her.

“If you growl at me again I will show you right now just how this is going to play out.” Mason’s words came out cool and collected and it just poked at Dani more.

Mason shook his head. “I warned you about that,” he said firmly, then picked her up and threw her over his shoulder before she could react.

“Mason Daniels you put me down or so help me—”

Dani jumped. He had smacked her ass! What the hell? She was too shocked to comprehend what he had just done, let alone what he might mean to do next. Dani tried to escape from his grasp, but she was suddenly yanked over his lap and then pinned by one of his legs. Dani wiped at her eyes. He was holding her against him and she was growing more confused. How could he spank her like that and now sit here with such a gentle hand? “I have never reacted to anyone the way that I react to you,” she finally answered.

“Have you never been around an alpha before?” He wiped her tears with the tip of his fingers and Dani fought to keep from pulling away.

Dani looked up at him. She opened her mouth to protest, but then his mouth was suddenly on hers.

How to Introduce Erotic Spanking

Reading erotic novels can inspire you to change a few things in bed. Maybe they've introduced you to dirty talk, role playing, new positions or possibly even spanking. However, reading about spanking and getting turned on by it can be very different from actually experiencing it. If you've been reading an erotic BDSM novel recently and have found that your spanking interests have piqued, you've come to the right spot. Check out this guide on how to introduce spanking into your relationship.

The first step to introducing anything new in bed is always communication. I don't ever recommend just taking the plunge and spanking your partner out of nowhere--that usually doesn't end well. If it's the other way around and you want to be spanked, you're not likely to get it unless you ask. So you're going to have to open your mouth and talk to your partner about it. They might be reticent at first, especially if your partner is a man. I have found that some past partners of mine were unable to do so due to learning that you "never hit a woman" at a young age. Just talk them through it, explain why you're into it and even read them an excerpt from one of your favorite spanking books to really drive the point home.

It's important to note that this is something you should try with someone you trust. You never want to incorporate pain or violence into sex with someone you don't trust or can't be honest with. In fact, you should set up a safe word once you've gotten them on board with the spanking. This will allow the two of you to have fun, but know when limits have been reached.

So how do you spank? It's not as straight forward as you may think!

When you start out, be sure to just involve spanking. Don't mix it with sex or oral sex. Let the recipient, whether that be you or your partner, become accustomed to the pain, to learn how it feels and how they are going to react. You don't want to move on until the spanker has mastered the move and the spankee has mastered the pain.

Start out by fooling around with your partner. It's important that the spankee is aroused. This will allow all of the blood to flow to the top of the skin and will make the body more receptive to erotic pain. Do not attempt any spanking until the spankee feels adequately aroused. Once turned on, have the spankee assume a position that is comfortable for them--this could be on all fours, bending over, strewn across the spanker's lap, or even bent over a chair.

Then have the spanker position themselves so they have full range of motion and enough space to accurately spank the spankees backside. The spanker will want to start by using their hands as they are the best gauge for force and pain.

First have the spanker warm their hands up by rubbing them together. Then they will have to select their dominate hand, this will be the one they use to spank. The spanker should then slightly cup their hand. Cupping their hand will allow them to make better contact and produce a wonderful smacking sound. Then they will want to aim for the meatiest section of one butt cheek--never try to slap both cheeks at once. As the spank comes down, the spanker will want to make a slight upward stroke vs a downward one. Once the spank has been laid out, the spanker should follow up with a quick caress or massage of the area that was spanked. This will help calm the skin down and prepare it for the next spank. At this point its important for the spankee to show through body language or through words if this was too much, not enough or the perfect amount. From there the two of you can play with varying amounts of pain.
