Born and raised in Southern California during the 1960's and 70's, I always had a feeling that I was born just a little too late. I longed to be just a little bit older so I could hang out with the cool teenagers and twenty-somethings in my neighborhood. My imagination was strong, though, and it carried my along until I finally decided to write a story about those cool people. My novel, "Red, White & Blues" is a tribute to those turbulent and exciting times and the people who lived through them. And those that did not. While it is based on a very definite time in history, it is definitely not meant to be read like non-fiction.
