Your life lived is a story. Stories help us understand ourselves and others. Stories help us face our fear, understand differences, and help give answers to the great questions of life
People who have died all live on in the stories that we tell, the stories that we share, they don’t really die until the last person remembering them dies. Stories are one way of demonstrating that life is ever continuous.
Storytelling is a universal across culture and history. Stories helps us understand what’s happening in our communities and can also act as a training ground, how to interact, different customs and rules of society, empathy, reactions to the story told by others teaches us empathy and compassion and an ever changing code of moral, the imaginary world we go to while hearing a story is vital for our health, act as practice for real life.
The great tales and legends give not only relief from everyday darkness, but also pleasure and enchantment, the power to bring a hush to a room, a catch to the breath, a leap to the curious heart, with the simple words “Once upon a no time”.
