Lacey Weatherford About Lacey WeatherfordLacey Weatherford was born in Ft. Meade Maryland while her father was serving in the military. She has been a life long resident of Arizona, spending most of her time growing up in the small rural town of Clay Springs.

It was while she was attending the small country school in Clay Springs, that she read her first "big" book at the age of eight. It was a Nancy Drew novel and Lacey was instantly hooked. She read every book that she could find in the series and decided that she wanted to write stories too.

Lacey spent a lot of time at the library from that time forward, even volunteering in her later teen years and early twenties. She would don a crazy clown outfit for the Friends of the Library fundraisers in an effort to help get the new town library built.

When she and her husband moved away from the area, Lacey took the opportunity to take some creative writing classes at the local college to help further along her interests. Several years later, they were blessed with the opportunity to move back to Clay Springs with their family. The town had finally succeeded in building their library and Lacey had the opportunity to be President of the Friends of the Library for a very short time, before relocating.

Lacey and her family still live in the White Mountains of Arizona, where she continues to write young adult novels that have a fantasy/fairytale or paranormal bent to them, as well as being sure to include a great romantic storyline!

Autumn's Harvest Blog Hop

Welcome to my stop on the Autumn's Harvest Blog Hop!
Today I'm writing about Autumn and vampires. Don't think I can do it, do you? Well, I'll give it a shot.

Autumn is the time of year when people think of change. The leaves turn to vibrant reds, yellows, and oranges and we tend to appreciate the things we have a bit more. Since Thanksgiving falls in November, the holiday adds to our joyous feelings.

In my novel, Wanted: Vampire - Free Blood, Alexis Hall starts out in a very bad place due to a devastating loss. She is cold, frozen in the winter of time without hope or even a will to live. Until fate steps in. Like Autumn, she too changes and learns to appreciate her life and all that she's been given. Her very life gains more meaning than it ever had before and she doesn't look back. In a powerful story about change, she chooses to live in Autumn.

Phantom Book Tour

PhantomThe “Phantom” was a musical phenomenon that Rebecca had always found enchanting. She had no idea that her life was about to mirror the play that was her obsession. When her high school drama club chooses “Phantom” as their annual production, Rebecca finds herself in the middle of an unlikely love triangle and the target of a sadistic stalker who uses the lines from the play as their calling card.

Rebecca lands the lead role of Christine, the opera diva, and like her character, she is torn between her two co-stars—Tom the surfer and basketball star who plays the lovable hero, and Justyn, the strangely appealing Goth who is more than realistic in the role of the tortured artist.

Almost immediately after casting, strange things start to happen both on and off the stage. Curtains fall. Mirrors are shattered. People are hurt in true phantom style. They all seem like accidents until Rebecca receives notes and phone calls that hint at something more sinister. Is Justyn bringing to life the twisted character of the phantom? Or in real life are the roles of the hero and the villain reversed? Rebecca doesn’t know who to trust, but she knows she’s running out of time as she gets closer and closer to opening night. Only when the mask is stripped away, will the twenty first century phantom finally be revealed.

The book answers these questions:
How do I get out of debt and stay out of debt? Which charity or cause do I choose to make my donation?
How do I decide where to volunteer? How can our family plan a volunteer vacation? How can I save money for retirement? How much should I contribute to my 401k? Can I use Mint to manage my budget? How to retire early enough to devote healthy years to volunteering? This must-read book provides an overview of philanthropy in America and around the world, providing you with a clear picture of charity and its fruits. Those Violet Eyes Review

JUST ONE CHAPTER, I told myself as I took a much needed break from NaNoWriMo - 30 days and nights of literary abandon.

Well, just one chapter wasn't enough. I couldn't put this gem down once I started so here's my review...
Evie Caldwell hates her life. Five years ago, she gave up college and her dream of teaching to care for her ailing mother. Now, she's trapped taking care of her worthless brother and the family ranch. Waiting tables to earn her way out of Texas, the last thing she wants is a muscleman with a macho Marine attitude complicating her life. But, oh, how that man makes her insides melt.

Wounded vet Win Fairchild returns to Texas to heal, find a piece of his soul, and open a ranch for amputee children. Finding someone to love is not on his agenda. But when he starts work at the Lonesome Steer Honky Tonk, a spitfire with violet eyes and a major attitude instantly captures his heart.

Evie just wants to escape, but now that Win knows what he wants, can he convince Evie to stay in Texas--and his bed?

Those Violet Eyes Those Violet Eyes by Vonnie Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Absolutely endearing!

I was hooked by the title. I love it. The author weaves a wonderful story that’s funny, romantic, and has realistic and fun characters. My absolute favorite parts of this story as a whole are Win’s messages: 1. Go after your dreams, no matter the cost. And 2. What it is to be a man and how to treat a woman. I truly wish more men understood this because there are too many Dooley’s in the world today. I don’t want to give too much away but I thought the ending was perfect. I loved it all. Bravo!

Corktown Promo

Cork Town CorktownThe Doctor Is Back.

In the quiet Corktown neighborhood of Detroit, a mutilated body has the residents nervous and for good reason. Detroit Metro Police recognize the handiwork of the serial killer known as the Doctor. But there’s a problem with that. They locked him up seven years ago.

Because of her expertise with serial killers, former hotshot detective and now FBI agent, Abby Kane, is tasked with figuring out how this madman is able to kill again. When she visits The Doctor behind bars, he swears he’s innocent and not the psychopath everyone thinks he is. Oddly enough, Abby believes him.

Corktown dives headfirst into the grit of Detroit, exposing the government corruption and deadly violence that has haunted the city for decades.

Ty Hutchinson About Ty Hutchinson

Hello. My name is Ty Hutchinson and I’m from Hawaii. What does that mean? I don’t need to tan. I'm the author of the best selling Darby Stansfield novels. Readers have described them as Tarantino meets The Office with a splash of romance. Let me know if you agree. My latest release is Corktown, the first book in my new Abby Kane series. I'm very excited about it. Before this whole author thing came up, I spent twenty-two years in advertising writing stuff that irritates you. I've stopped that. When I'm not writing thrillers, you'll find me traveling the world, playing video games, eating and reading, or watching HGTV. Yup, me likey the HGTV. Don't hate.
