I'm from an Indigenous culture and grew up in a large military family. When I went off to college, I was involved in Greek Life. I also worked in mental health facilities and with neurodivergent students. I didn’t set out to write a book about my experiences, but I can’t deny those aspects seeped into my writing.

My favorite novel is Battle Royale, my favorite TV show is America’s Best Dance Crew, and my favorite video game series is Mortal Kombat (with Fallout an extremely close second.) My debut novel doesn't contain the level of gore and violence found in those stories, but I love exploring the group dynamics.

Sole Edition of Kala Na Pernas: APEX's Tale and Journey

The only edition that is available to read is the primary edition. If you happen to be one of the six people who have the old edition with the silver lettering and lack of subtitle, I revised the book and cover. The edition you read isn't the edition going on sale.
