A sort of lazy month
It's been a sort of lazy month in the world of writing. I'm still working on a sub to SMP's Devil's Night anthology, but that is it.
Why?
Well, don't know really. I do know that I had a plan to take a break during July, but it's found me already.
But one thing I learned recently: be kind to yourself.
If you need a break, take it. A day. A week. Refresh your creative brain and breathe.
I am also wondering about a sequel to For Those Who Wait. Either a free monthly short for a couple of months, or...

No reason why, but...
As of now, Dark Night Skies and Wicked Intentions are available as .pdf, .mobi and .epub formats on AllRomance Ebooks, as well as Smashwords (of course).
A Bitter Sanctuary will be available in all three formats too. :) I'm going to keep my freebies as .pdf's though.
In other news, I'm feeling quite ill. Have had some major RL issues arise, zapping all my energy and creativity away. Fucking problems.

LiAW has begun!!
The Love is Always Write event has begun at the Goodreads M/M Romance group!! Check out all of the stories coming from now through July. I know I've been waiting (un) patiently for a few of them, but I'm really looking forward to reading them all!!
My story for the event has come out today, titled For Those Who Wait. It's a short non-explicit story, fyi. And, as per the few comments posted already, I do have an idea for a sequel... A set of short freebie stories (maybe a monthly webisode type...

DON'T read your reviews! Why not?
There is a piece of advice floating around lately that tells new authors, and not so new authors, NOT to read their reviews. And while I can agree to a point, notice that I just agree to a point.
The internet makes it very easy to post a lousy review, to get really nasty, to the point that they rip into new authors. It's becoming more common, and it's less likely to change.
So before you take all the advice to NOT read your reviews, think of a few things first.
What kind of person are you? Do yo...

Characters - Hate them/Love them
We all have characters that we hate. Completely, totally, despise with all our passion.
But is there any character that you completely hate, but then love at the same time? I think everyone can think of one. That antagonist in a book or movie that plays a major role in the MC's life. They come back, over and over, maybe they are the 2nd MC, or maybe just a side character with a major role.
In any case, it's characters like these that keep the story going. Sure, you may love the MC and any other...

What is your favorite thing to write?
Okay, I fail on titles, but basically, what do you like to write, most of all, in romance (M/M or others)?
Me? I love to write in the romance aspect, the closeness, the neediness, the unexpected and expected kisses, the wandering hands, moving legs, trembling, and heavy beating hearts.
No, I'm not talking about sex. I'm talking romance. Somewhere, somehow, I'm a romantic O.O more of a shocker to me than my readers probably, haha. And while I do enjoy writing sex, whether vanilla or hardcore, sw...

To-do list March 2012
My plans for February went right out the window. I have 2 novellas on the revisions scale, ha! That's one too many, but what can I say.
1. Revise Angel's Redemption
2. Finish revisions and submit The Last Road Home
3. Plan and start on chosen prompt for the Love Is Always Write writers events at Goodreads M/M Readers Group.
4. Plan for a late spring/early summer freebie!
5. Plan to add something significant and interesting to this blog instead of just to-do lists and other shameless self-plugs... ...

Mid month update.
Happy Valentine's Day! And happy mid-February! XD
What do you have planned for this fabulous day?
Me? Work. Haha! I haven't planned a lovey dovey day with the boyfriend in years, since my fifth ex. So yeah. Instead, I have words to write.
Here's a quick update in what I have achieved for the month:
1. The Last Road Home: Up to chapter 9 of edits, rewrites, and plot fixes. I had some issues, but I believe they are all worked out now.
2. WIP angel fic: I'm currently at 21+ k. With the way it's going...

WIP share XD
Every now and again, I like to share snippits of my recent WIP's, no matter what day of the week it is LOL.
Here's a bit of my current angel WIP:
Here's a bit of my current angel WIP:
The gush of the shower coming from the bathroom filled the unsteady quiet. Lynsael sat perfectly still, his hands stuffed between his thighs against the unfamiliar rough jean fabric. They were scratchy, and he tried not to itch his legs, knowing he needed to get used to the humans way of life. No one ran around in the nude here, he knew that well by l...
