The Wednesday Soundtrack - Inspiration #1
Welcome back for another week of The Wednesday Soundtrack.
Today's song isn't just one song that inspires a WIP, but several that inspire me with any project I've worked on in the last few months. They are my go to tunes that help me focus, or unwind, or help me capture a certain MC's perspective better.
I love a lot of different kinds of genres. So you may see a song here that makes you cringe, or a song that makes you smile. :)
These all are YT videos btw. If you need another player, I can loo...

The Wednesday Soundtrack - All The Right Moves
I've contemplated doing weekly posts on what song(s) inspire certain projects. So, let's start this shall we?
The Wednesday Soundtrack!
Not every writer uses music for inspiration. Some do. Others may find inspiration in other media. Movies. Books. Television. Me? I find a lot of inspiration in music. Many of my WIP's are inspired by a soundtrack of songs from every genre. Heavy metal to easy listening, and even country and rap.
I create my playlists via Youtube. It's easiest for me to open my b...

Free Snogs for You

Time again for another Sunday Snog. Readers, go to that linky <-- and clicky to read more from fantabulous authors!
This week's snog comes from a freebie short story Once Upon a New Years Eve. Available for free here on my blog, or as a pdf format for ebook readers at AllRomanceEbooks.

Joey is sad about his breakup with Tanner.
Dillon is there to comfort him. *winks*

My entire body went numb as I stared up at the cream colored stucco ceiling. Every thought, every emotion I ha...

Angel's Redemption Sunday Snoggin Time!

This snog comes from a polished and subbed story called Angel's Redemption. Main character Blaine Schneider is a little shocked to have an angel, Lynsael, suddenly living with him. He's even more shocked when Lyn tries to kiss him...
-------
Just then, the kitchen tap hissed, and Blaine turned to spot Lynsael at the sink. Dishes clanked together as he filled the basin wit...

A Spellbinding Sunday Snog

I'm new to Victoria Blisse's Sunday Snog, so readers if you haven't yet, visit the website and click on the links to read more from all the fantabulous authors! And I'm late to the party.
My snog today is from my current WIP, A Spellbinding Curse.
We start in the middle of the scene where Max, the MC, is over at his neighbor's house to ask why the man has been hanging around naked with his curtains open. Actually he doesn't just 'hang around', he does some other very naughty things in front o...

Oooh, naughty, naughty author
I'm a naughty author. I haven't updated in about a month XD.
Also, I've been hella mixed up in projects, I'm surprised I even know where the hell I'm at with everything. See I keep a WIP page-thingy here to keep track of what I SHOULD BE DOING.
That hasn't been going well.
After fighting project after project, I ended up writing something completely new and totally loving it. Heh. How's that for tsk tsk.
But at least I know what I'm doing for the rest of August.

Sexy cover art fan!
I'll tell you, I am a major fan of sexy anime style or digital cover art. Give me a beautiful cover pic in these styles and, after an awesome blurb to hook me, I have to read.
Honestly, most of what I've read in the last year have been M/M romances with these types of covers.
Small but growing list of books with awesome covers.
I'm still organizing the above list. And if I could, I'd buy all these books in hardcovers, or posters, to have a collection of beautiful art.
Are you a fan of stylized co...

Children's books? Really?
In the last couple of months, I've had several ask me if I write children's books. Um... why?
When I tell people I'm an author, they automatically assume I write children's books. Is it because I fit the part? Ya know, I have kids so they assume I write kid's books. Or is it that before all this 50 Shades bullshit, the most popular books were YA -- aka: Hunger Games, Twilight, Harry Potter?
Earlier today it happened again. Had review for real life job and I told my human resources manager than...

WIP share - The Drifters
Sharing a piece of my current WIP. The Drifters.
Warning: unedited, suspense, squirmy maggots on a dead body
I swear this wasn't supposed to be a horror scene, but thanks to daughter for the idea!
Want a free chapter of The Drifters? Read Here

Stepping closer, I rounded another corner with my back against the wall and the gun readied to fire, and the sound stopped as fast as it began. But the scent of old blood drowned my fear with curiosity.A figure lay curled in the middle of the dark hallwa...

Title: For Those Who Wait (click story title to read)
Author: Azalea Moone
Genre: Non-explicit, sweet/fluffy
Warnings: None. Unless you'd rather they get a little dirtier, LOL
Note: This was written for the Love is Always Write event at Goodreads M/M Romance group. There will be a series continuation throughout the next couple months... so come back often. At the end of the short series, I'll publish a full length e-book available for free.
And make sure you check out the other author's free...
