Sylvia D. Lucas is a writer and editor who lives with her husband in a house with a yard, but no swing set. When at work, she can often be found engrossed in her Scrabble and Words with Friends apps.

Her experience as a woman who has never wanted children - and whose child-free position helped end two of her marriages - gave her the perspective to write "No Children, No Guilt," and her years of experience being a woman, as well as the building frustration with male and female stereotypes and the misunderstandings between the sexes that have been perpetuated by antiquated or sexist dating and relationship books, led to the publication of "What Every Woman Wishes Modern Men Knew About Women," which has already helped save one marriage.
