Indy. 'Nuff

There's actually a funny story behind this scene in the movie. Spielberg and Lucas had a big fight scene planned out here. Indy was originally meant to whip out a sword and start kicking ass.

Unfortunately, some bad food got brought in one day for the cast. Spielberg was the only one who didn't eat it, and thus was the only one who didn't get really sick. But they were already way over budget, so shooting had to continue.

Inspiration in the Desert

The search for Inspiration is -

In the desert, a wind

Devoid of warmth or chill.

The breath that is not -

Force the shape -

Which will not be forced,

But should be lifted by that

Breeze which is dead.

In the desert we await the dream,

The flood, the call, the stream of thought,

Which will not be summoned or hauled

Free of the sands.

It may even be called Hunting the Sollici, as was referenced in the story I posted the other day, about the Hunt in Saditz. Anyway, this will be a big book, I'm looking at upwards of 40 plus short stories, not t...
