There's actually a funny story behind this scene in the movie. Spielberg and Lucas had a big fight scene planned out here. Indy was originally meant to whip out a sword and start kicking ass.
Unfortunately, some bad food got brought in one day for the cast. Spielberg was the only one who didn't eat it, and thus was the only one who didn't get really sick. But they were already way over budget, so shooting had to continue.

Inspiration in the Desert
The search for Inspiration is -
In the desert, a wind
Devoid of warmth or chill.
The breath that is not -

Or able to lift the sand

Been reading a lot of War and Peace lately. I know the Eiffel...

Been reading a lot of War and Peace lately. I know the Eiffel Tower was long after Napoleon's time but still…Paris brings it all to mind. Napoleonic Wars might be the most interesting time in history, and Napoleon certainly is a hero of mine.

Writing News/Upcoming Releases
My next two releases will be as follows:
1) The next one will actually be an anthology of short stories and poems - pretty much all of my work included in one collection, the working title is The Miller and the Boy but when the collection is fully edited/compiled, that may well change. It may even be called Hunting the Sollici, as was referenced in the story I posted the other day, about the Hunt in Saditz. Anyway, this will be a big book, I'm looking at upwards of 40 plus short stories, not t...
