And after my favourite band, my favourite film. Possibly. Its in the top 5 anyway. This has actually inspired a lot of my writing - the gothic feel, the dark atmosphere etc.

Favourite band ever. Favourite guitarist ever. Favourite singer...





Favourite band ever. Favourite guitarist ever. Favourite singer ever. I wish I'd been alive/older than about 5 when the classic GNR lineup was doing the rounds. Got into them while I was in school and never really stopped. They had it all - the outright rock, the ballads, the epics, the solos, the excitement, literally everything. I keep hearing rumours that they will be back together for the Rock N Roll hall of fame..here's hoping.

The Travelling Circus of Lacrimosa - Chapter One

The first chapter/scene of my novel - The Travelling Circus of Lacrimosa. 

Act One

Across the fields and through the far flung towns,

Upon the horizons where sunsets frown,

The shadow of a circus steals night time,

But only dusk bears witness to its crime.

Scene One

How the carnival music played that day! The cheerful tunes of playful flutes and boisterous, merry-go round ditties spiraled up into the air of a rapidly encroaching dusk, so that, although the purple, bruised cloud of night hung...
