Demon Vampire Revised Edition
The revised edition of Demon Vampire is here.

The entire book was changed from the last review edition. Zack was the heavy edit. His character needed to be more stoic and reserved compared to the image I had initially portrayed of him. I lightened the cover to make it easier for printing. The book slimmed down ten pages as well. It totals 250 pages now. The cover price has been set at $10.97 for print and $7.99 for eBook.
The book will be available as soon as this week. There was a clerical error and the original publication date of Oct 18th was botched. The book will go live on Amazon tonight at this link:

Slight Delay On Revised Edition
As With All Things, We Get Better At Something With Time
I wrote the last version of Demon Vampire from 2009-2010. Nearly three and a half years later I have grown as a writer and learned a few things that have helped my craft greatly. During my revision of the book I have been taking review issues into account and I have been fixing a few things that I had forgotten about in the grand design of the series.
I am focusing the book into a paranormal romance novel. Sorry to my male readers in advance. The book will be more sensual, mature, and have less senseless gore overall. I am taking out the needless fluff of the book and streamlining it to read quicker. The last version of the rewrite had around 30 chapters. This revision will have more than 55 by the time I'm done. The book will be more correlated as well. The jumps between the different story lines will make more sense now. And The opening prologue will have a continuing conclusion throughout this book and the rest of the series.
As a basic rule I plan on giving a conclusions to each timeline I open at the beginning of each book in the series. Some larger plot lines will have multiple conclusions that get bigger as the book proceed, but they will have a more full filling feel over all as the books are read in order.
I will be changing the back summary as well. The current summary will reflect the series as a whole and the new summary will reflect the contents of this book directly as it is presented without spoilers.
Thank you for your patience in this matter as I make the final changes to the book. The reviews that have elected to re-read the revised edition will receive their ebook copies as soon as they are ready.
PS: I did note that several people had formatting issues with the quotations appearing as commas throughout the book. If you experienced this, please email me at virgilallenmoore@live.com and let me know what ereader you used and when you bought it. I have a theory that some of the newer models didn't accept the formatting and I am trying to pin point the problem.

Demon Vampire Is Being Revised
Demon Vampire is currently being reworked.
In the past several reviewers have noted the weak and whiny nature of Zack Giver as the main character. Even in the more negative reviews of the book, the character Marin has been praised. I searched for why and found that indeed he is a bad ass stoic vampire. So I thought about it. A lot of people thought about Zack and Marin as parallel characters in different places in their lives. So I took that to heart.
I went back through the whole book and changed Zack Giver. I took out his entire weak and clueless nature. I replaced it with a modern version of how Marin was when he was younger. The stoic sense of self. The passive intensity that everyone loved about Marin is now also in Zack.
The revised edition will be done at the end of August and will be available at that time for review. To those that have already received an advanced review copy, that would be the time to request the new version.
I am also making the book a little less violent. The whole Orhn scene didn't really make sense after the initial cut of the new edition. So I decided to work it into a later book instead. This should fix the disjointed issue that most reviewers have noted.
I believe these changes should benefit the book as a whole and make it the amazing series that so many of you were hoping to read. Thank you all for sticking with me as I evolve into the writer you have always wanted.
