Melt Over Me
October 10, 2011
Yo Foo!
Let this resonate – listen closely – don't be abused:

I've got another confession to make
I'm your fool
Everyone's got their chains to break
Holdin' you
Were you born to resist or be abused?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Are you gone and onto someone new?
I needed somewhere to hang my head
Without your noose
You gave me something that I didn't have
But had no use
I was too weak to give in
Too strong to lose
My heart is under arrest again
But I break loose
My head is giving me life or death
But I can't choose
I swear I'll never give in
I refuse
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Has someone taken your faith?
Its real, the pain you feel
You trust, you must
Confess
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Oh…
Oh…Oh…Oh…Oh…
Has someone taken your faith?
Its real, the pain you feel
The life, the love you'd die to heal
The hope that starts the broken hearts
You trust, you must
Confess
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
I've got another confession my friend
I'm no fool
I'm getting tired of starting again
Somewhere new
Were you born to resist or be abused?
I swear I'll never give in
I refuse
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Has someone taken your faith?
Its real, the pain you feel
You trust, you must
Confess
Is someone getting the best, the best, the best, the best of you?
Oh…

Bite Me
I feel kind of odd posting about apples today. Considering we lost one of the greatest visionaries of our time yesterday, R.I.P. Steve Jobs. – As my mantra states "Creativity is the Catalyst to the Future" and Steve's creative and innovative mind brought us the best technology to create, deliver and consume music and media. Such. A. Loss.
Now- on to why I'm writing about apples – An apple a day keeps the doctor away – and a fat ass. Nah, not wholly, of course, keeping a fat ass away takes a lot of work. Trust me, I know. It's all relative no matter what "size" you are.
I was inspired by my "friend", David Zinczenko. His post today stated: "BREAKFAST BOMB: IHOP's Country Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs w/ Sausage Gravy has 1680 cals! That's like 7 Wendy's Jr. Hamburgers!" –
ARE YOU EFFING KIDDING ME?!!! I gag just thinking about it.
Choose right people. You have one life. One Body. Love it.
No, apples won't kill you – but eating like shit will…eventually. AND get off your ass and walk the dog or something like that. MUAH!!

For The Love
The Giving Tree is a tale about a relationship between a young boy and a tree. The tree always provides the boy with what he wants: branches on which to swing, shade in which to sit, and apples to eat. As the boy grows older he requires more and more of the tree. The tree loves the boy very much and gives him anything he asks for. In the ultimate act of self-sacrifice, the tree lets the boy cut it down so the boy can build a boat in which he can sail. The boy leaves the tree, now a stump. Many years later, the boy, now an old man, returns and the tree sadly says, "I'm sorry, boy…but I have nothing left to give you." But the boy replies, "I do not need much now, just a quiet place to sit and rest." The tree then says, "Well, an old tree stump is a good place for sitting and resting. Come boy, sit down and rest." The boy obliges and the tree was very happy.
