Michelle Lowe was born in Georgia and spent most of her life in the Atlanta area before relocating to Southern California with her husband, Ben, and their two children.

Her published works include the novels The Warning, Cherished Thief, and Inevitable Impact; the children's book Poe's Haunted House Tour; the fantasy adventure series The Hex Hunt; and the young adult Cycles series, beginning with A Cut Through Time.

Her science fiction thriller, Atlantic Pyramid, earned a place on the Best Books of 2014 list. Other works include the mystery thriller Storyteller; the six-part steampunk fantasy series Legacy; its standalone companion novel, Boom Time; and the four-part steampunk continuation series The Age of the Machine.
