POETRY MAN
He doesn't need to be a linguist to win her heart
He only needs to be himself and she finds out what he's all about
Page blotted with coffee rings or character doodles makes her sigh when receiving it from him
It's not the words
But, his heart is the gift he's given her from within
His letters are archived in her memory
From the first droplets of ink that dotted the crinkled page
To that little heart you drew on the end of your name
Poetry man has the right key
It's his passionate pen and he works it on me
My man is poet
Our ink is the tears of joy we share in laughter and desire
Words are the magnet that have drawn us together....
