When To Quit And When To Stick

I’ve always thought I wasn’t a quitter till I read The Dip. Seth Godin considers winners those who quit fast, quit often, and quit without guilt. Winners, he says, seek The Dip. On the contrary, losers either fail to stick out The Dipor they never even find the rigth dip to conquer.

Quit the wrong stuff

Stick with the right stuff

Have the guts to do one or the other.

The author of The Dipbegins this priceless little book by saying that being the best in the world really matters, aside from the th...

The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success

I came across Deepak Chopra’sThe Seven Spiritual Laws of Successby chance. The first thing I do when I get into a house is to go to the library (if any) and check out the shelves. For me, the books unveil part of the soul of their owner. I am not sure if this transformational book was there waiting for me to read, but it attracted my attention and I obviously read it.

According to the author of The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, these are powerful principles you can use to fulfill your deepe...

What Makes Someone Truly Great At What They Do?

The author ofTalent is Overrateddiscovered that there is this body of scientific research that he (and almost nobody) didn’t really know about, and when he got into it, Geoff Colvin thought it was incredibly interesting and also extremely important. So he wrote about it.

Talent is Overratedsheds some light on how even though most people spend a great deal of hours working, they perform just okay—not awesomely, not amazingly, not world-class excellent.

When asked to explain why a few people are...

Yesterday morning Catalan President Artur Mas spoke to the press. He said that Catalan government called off independence referendum. However, there will be polling stations and ballot papers available to hold a preliminary vote on the same day (November, 9th). That is to say, a purely symbolic referendum.

With such sad but quite expected news, I can affirm, ‘The Catalans are less happy than the Swiss’

If you wish to minimize the chances of divorce: You should date for three years before popping the question. Be wealthy, but don’t be a gold-digger. Have a huge wedding, but make sure it’s cheap. And whatever you do, don’t skip the honeymoon.
