going cold turkey: veganism and me

i was recently asked by my friend pamela on facebook: "hi susie, just wondering when you transitioned to no meat. how did you transition, and was it hard at first. is food still good? did you just buy a vegan cook book and start cooking? just curious as I have thought about it more than once."

i just went "cold turkey" (pardon the pun)...all i needed to do was watch one too many graphic videos to get my head glued on straight...i was in denial about how "terroristic" humans are and how foolish to eat stressed out cadavers...

first, i am nicer than i ever thought -- took me a while to face my guilt in all of the murders of sentient beings...some countries eat dogs...we eat pigs, chickens and cows...we are wrong as hell to do so...i had to be forced as a kid to eat meat anyway...and the seasonings and condiments and stuff make flesh palatable...it is gross to eat skin, organs, flesh when we stop to think about it and mean...

then i realized i like pasta and crackers and vegetables and now fruit for the first time in my life and i am never hungry...i ain't a recipe person...i make great potato salad and stuff...so we eat stuff like that. my husband had both colon and prostate cancer one after the other and his dad died from colon cancer right when don had it...those cancers are caused absolutely by eating animals as is breast cancer and parkinson's...so the side effect of being kind and not eating decaying corpses is our improved health.

a wonderful movie is BOLD NATIVE...not too graphic...mostly cerebral and logical and fine. i am so ashamed that it took me this long to wise up and to stop playing a part in second by second thoughtless massacres. it takes about 6 weeks before A PERSON WOULD NEVER EVEN CONSIDER EATING A KILLED ANIMAL EVER AGAIN.

hopefully, i didn't just gross you out...but honestly eating animals is so despicable as to not be believed once a person lands at veganism...i even have a leather chair and it kills me to look at it. i ain't nuts...i am nicer and healthier than i was at this time last year.

...and what is unreal is that weight drops off, arthritis subsides and i now wear skinnier jeans than i did a few months ago...you will be a new person. thanks for asking...you probably wish you hadn't? ;D ♥ heart ;)wink

oh, how i love these comments about the above entry!

Tressa Marie: "I did the exact same thing....became vegan literally overnight, about 4 months ago! (even though I never ate red meat) And once you start eating fruits and vegetables, you don't crave 'junk food' at all anymore. I feel better than I have ever felt in my life...and not just physically... mentally better too knowing that I don't contribute to the death, abuse or mistreatment of any innocent animal. Much respect to you, Susie, for all you do!"

Rory Tipping: "Exactly how I went through it. She has a great way of putting her thoughts into words. Shared. :-)"

Deborah Fields Perez: "This was a great article, Susie!!!! Killing is cruel! This is something I truly don't want to be a part of."

Luna Dance: "Totally agree. It's true. Honest! If you want to lose weight give up meat & dairy. Try it for a month. People give up cakes, chocolate etc, so give this a go..xxx...It worked for me but that wasn't the reason i gave it all up as i didn't know it at the time,so added bonus :) xx"

Beverley Holden: "I do all that Luna, but I`m hardly a Skeleton..lol"

Dee Turner: "Love you, Susie Duncan Sexton. You are such an inspiration!! I chose to be vegetarian decades ago and becoming vegan is the next level for me too. Godspeed to all those enlightened souls who recognize that our 'dominion over animals' does not give us the right to cause such suffering & death without consequences. Great post as always! Godspeed ~xXx~♥"

and these comments on my new paperback made my day!

Shannon Basner: "Got my copy from Amazon today!"

Deborah Fields Perez: "Fantastic feel good book of the year! I bought my copy and love reading it at the end of the day. Such light-hearted, good-people stories. I adore this book. It will be on my book shelf for many years to come....It's true!! I keep it within reaching distance of where I sit at night. You tell stories with such nice detail. I feel like I'm right there with you....This is such a well-written book that makes you feel all warm and cozy inside. You will truly enjoy reading the stories and feel as if you are right there with the characters. I bought my copy two weeks ago and I absolutely love it."

Diane Bain: "oh, that's fantastic for those of us who are so busy tending to and caring for unwanted bunnies with little time to keep up with online technology...looking forward to reading it!"

the sensitization must begin

my philosophy is we give the homeless animals posted on facebook a beautiful chance/chances to connect with some human angel by sharing their pix that they pose for as if they KNOW that is their LAST chance to hang onto their lives.

killing these dolls is just positively evil...nobody can tell me differently...so facebook drives me to help by spreading the word and hoping people climb on board to help locally and around this entire globe. the murders must stop...the sensitization must begin.

i know that when i bond big time with a photo, that clicking back on the actual picture brings updated info like SAFE, RESCUED, ADOPTED, LEFT THE BUILDING...or god forbid RIP at which time i cry...there is no resting in peace...dead is dead and we need to prevent the thoughtless and mindless slaughter of innocent animals every chance we get.

how about adopting at least one kitten or puppy or dog or cat from your local shelter? let us empty the cages and help to stop this crisis of killing, of throwing away, of walking away...let us change from a disposable society to a nurturing culture respecting all life...hoo-ray for a brand new day...a brand new start. thanks for helping and for saving a life...TODAY! ♥!!!

love this comment on the above entry!

Carol Baker: "Susie, I've been convinced for a long time that the way we treat animals is a direct reflection of how we treat one another. My life has been so much richer for having adopted an army of shelter pets, for you and I both know the secret... about how they make your heart bigger. Imagine a world where for one day, everyone who could, committed to adopting one shelter animal. Imagine how much bigger our collective hearts would be... imagine....Though I have to tell you, 'rescuing animals' is a misnomer. In every single case, it was they who rescued me. I know you know what I mean."

and more neat comments...

Bob Wannberg: "Make all Shelters, places where animals are taken or held, 'No Kill' facilities. Prosecute any animal abuse (including abandonment). Spay and Neuter your pets, adopt a shelter animal and save a life! they make the best family members or friends!"

Kim Adair Willprecht: "Thank you, Susie...for all of your hard work. You have my <3 for that."

Luna Dance: "shared. xx"

Diane Bain: "fantastic, roy & susie. shared :)"

Lynda Craig: "Thank you for supporting this, Susie! Love your writing!"

Robin Plasterer: "I love your whole family. I'm going to buy this [Secrets paperback] and get it autographed at the 'Busco Library later this month."

Emma Schumann: "Beautifully written Susie. Thank you very much for posting this to me - loved reading this. Thank you ♥ Pleasure - enjoyed reading. Thank you !!! ♥"

Tyler A. Chase: "Susie, what a cool article. I have my ghosts too. I know what you mean. They're a hard act to follow.xx"

Moronic Ox Q&A: Secrets of an Old Typewriter, politics, animal rights, classic films, and just about...everything!

In this Q&A with Moronic Ox literary journal, I talk openly about my book Secrets of an Old Typewriter, politics, animal rights, classic films, and just about...everything!

Excerpt: “I hold out hope for youthful altruism and acceptance of one another and living and letting live. Perhaps, one day, individuality will trump group-think. EVOLUTION accomplished! Preservation of and reverence for the environment and respect for all who live might be a given! Another serious concern is this political divisiveness which becomes more tiresome by the day and which I pray will evaporate and which children either may be bored with or immersed in--anybody know for sure? I see two posturing clumps of climbing humans in both parties who are outdoing one another with ever-larger families, fitting into molds which they believe will assure lucrative futures. Very few appear to genuinely care about anybody but themselves and their continuance of climbing the ladder...to heaven? Ha! No! To newer houses, several automobiles, meaningless chatter, community activism with only themselves at the helm….Animals teach me to understand human nature...to open my heart...to tolerate inexplicable behavior...to meet folks more than just half-way. Loving animals teaches me compassion and empathy and to care about others, whatever species...whatever age...whatever gender...whatever ethnicity.”

Crying when it rains: animal duos...

my twosome kitties cannot be apart from each other for a second...i saved two dogs from execution over a dozen years ago...one of them died this summer and her pal could not get used to her absence for a solid month and he cried when it rained as if he was worried she was still outside in the rain...even after a month. he still wonders where she is.

the lessons i have learned from my pets i cannot even begin to count. they are my heaven on earth in real time. i am a believer...♥!!!

Love these comments...

From Tressa Marie about the above entry: "And some 'people' think that animals don't feel and don't experience emotions??!!!"

Shannon Basner: "you are wonderful! Yeah what would life be like if there weren't furry friends everywhere. Thank you, Susie! ♥ Description: heart"

B. Anne Giles Watson: "Roy, what an adorable pic! Your mom looks super terrific!!!!"

Mina Bonita: "These people who think that animals don't have emotions, can't feel emotion, they themselves are unable to receive or give any kind of emotion, and therefore believe that the animals are the same."

____________________

BLESS YOUR HEARTS...I HAVE HAD A HELL OF A WEEK WITH "THICK" PEOPLE...THEY SEEM TO NOTICE NONE OF these serious issues regarding animals...AND THEN SAY SOMETHING UTTERLY CLUELESS AND MEAN-SPIRITED CLAIMING GOD IS ON THEIR SIDE...and that only people matter...i am not yelling...had my "caps" key down! thanks for making my day...

and a disney movie about saving the lives of animals is just what this selfish world needs right now. i am beside myself watching all the vanity and simple-mindedness in my corner of this little world...you perked me up! YAY! ♥Description: heart!!!

this process is indeed addictive--i know that!!! ...fun and time-consuming and exhausting and my housekeeping skills have totally bitten the dust now! ;D

we accomplish for animals...yep, this saturday at south whitley library event was fun BECAUSE animals, including about 50 dogs, walked back and forth in front of us all day? leave it to me to LOVE that aspect of a book signing? i am hopeless. such nice people i met today also...but my eyes always focus on ANIMALS! in another life i MUST have been a squirrel or a rhino? LOL...thanks for your support - means so much! so proud of you...we can never stop...you are dolls!!!!!

honestly, i consider animals ANGELS...i love moving through life believing that...and THAT is why i want them alllllllllll safe and appreciated...seriously...every one of them...not much to ask, right?

Latest Old Type Writer column: "May the true 'Salty Dog' win the 2012 race."

Latest "Old Type Writer" column on Jennifer Zartman Romano's "Talk of the Town" - this one is entitled "May the true 'Salty Dog' win the 2012 race."

Here is Jennifer's description: "Having grown up in a blue jeans-wearing, blue jeans-making household -- columnist Susie Duncan Sexton knows a thing or two about this closet staple. In her latest installment of "Old Type Writer," Sexton adds a little commentary on Mitt Romney's attempts at looking comfortable in a pair of jeans that just aren't his style. Click here to read it and check out some great photos from Blue Bell history."

appreciate this feedback on the latest column!

Lisa Blackwell Dickinson: "I meant to get back to you, Roy. I've not had a chance for an in-depth read, but, from what I have seen thus far, Susie seems a very forward-thinking woman. It is amazing how some can see so easily the things that others are blind/ignorant to, and I look forward to reading further."

Cynthia Blaez: "great story!"

Pat Heinbaugh: "Enjoyed reading the latest from Old Type Writer....."

Jan Tansel: "'Pulchritude' … hmmm…haven’t heard that word in ages. 'Beautiful” word.' Love Susie's columns."

Aida Munoz: "What a wonderful article! I loved the picture of your mom & her cousin as toddlers. She has a warm, kitchen table style. Thanks for sharing! I'll continue to read her work! Plus, I'm on her side politically!!"

Naida Austin: "Love this piece!"

Helen Cochrane: "Thank you for this beautiful write-up. The picture of Susie and Dan (I love it!) was made in Star, NC when Roy and Edna came for a visit."

Barb Nicholson: "Roy, your mom’s article is oh so true. But, my favorite is the photos of the bib overalls. Just think kids are sooo cute in them."

i've got many scars from my attempts...

how and why do human beings become so nasty and evil? and kill without thought or remorse or empathy?

the blowing-off-types who dismiss hearts that care and more importantly cause more murdering to happen with their swaggering attitudes...i simply avoid those loser jerk-wads these days...

...waiting for murder and killing to not only be unfashionable and rated as barbaric but also illegal! it is 2012...kill not any living being lest that happen to those who do the killing.

and i believe a secret is there is money to be made on all of this slaughtering--rendering of cadavers into pet food and fertilizers and selling live jailed trapped animals to laboratories not to mention getting paid for the actual murdering...

i read somewhere that the sense of collective guilt causes some thugs to become even more stubborn about slaughter of any being whatsoever...these ooks cannot face their responsibility for and their participation in such brutality...

to figure out how to insist humans face up to such personal wickedness is impossible...i do my best, face to face and otherwise...and guess what? i've got many scars from my attempts...but i shall not ever stop.

...i am becoming crankier and bolder by the second...i concentrate on those who still have souls so that together we can round up the those meanies "out there" and convert their hearts to kindness.

swaggering can get outta hand...swaggerers try to impress each other like they are dames at a beauty pageant (and i mean so-called "men"?????? and their "chicks" or gun-molls), so in order not to be a casualty of war i move on, but one of these days i shall not...brutes are brain dead and cowards and i know too many personally.

absolutely true. NOW is the only time...NOW!!!!! ♥!!!!!!

postscript

...all i want is that the world becomes totally loving and understanding toward all animals and sentient beings ...in the next second. patience? no, we have all been waiting long enough...

at least there are kind, enlightened humans are speaking up and facing the facts and are unafraid to do so...

i KNOW i have a different look in my eyes since i faced the reality of the horrors we have allowed to continue for far too long. we are no longer cavemen...we are evolving...just needs to be accelerated...NOW!

special effects in films...reality on tv? a mixed-up world. we are surrounded by the beauty of animals...we must look into their faces. my kind of special effects. my kind of reality. we must protect them.

we must not worry that the misinformed and clueless engage in idiotic temper tantrums when we advocate an end toward the murderous violence directed at animals. enough of the terror...no more terrorists who kill innocent beings by the nano-second for whatever horrid reason drummed up. shame on murderous mentalities. kudos to the brave-HEARTed who will end this sad hell on Earth.

post-postscript

i am getting skinny and breaking out in a rash and my eyes are haunted looking as hell...this work both depresses and delights me because i can help enlighten and i can help save lives. i shall never stop...i no longer eat animals and i am appalled that the whole world does not "get" how important all living beings are...all living beings. our only hope to survive is to understand that one concept. we must deal with this re-establishment of a reverence for nature and for our environment and this Earth which is so spectacular...we are the guardians! i am a new person...and i am exhausted all of the time...but this boosts my spirits every day. oh, what it means to me - i cannot begin to express my gratitude...

great comments!

Denise Hourihan: "Like the way you think, Susie. Unfortunately, I don't think there is any way to convert these evil people. I'd prefer to just see them locked up for life. Especially the monsters that train the poor Pit Bulls to fight! It's just not in their nature ... man makes them that way, takes many months to take the loving nature out of these dogs, and the dogs get the bad reputation for it. So sad!!!"

Latest HOMEWARD ANGLE: Dear Old Golden Rule Days…

HOMEWARD ANGLE: "Dear Old Golden Rule Days…" [View the original print version and photos here.]

"Grandma Louise" Easterday frequently exchanged original poetry with my mom, as the two ladies seated themselves beside one another in the exact same Jackson Street Methodist church pew each Sunday morning. Mother composed her creative verses via a script typewriter, since she held little self-confidence in her usually hasty handwriting, and slipped her compositions inside plastic pages then finally into three ring binders. Mrs. Easterday placed her own signature literary offerings into empty paper towel rolls decorated with festive wrapping paper and ribbons. What fun they had!

My late mom's spiritual and spirited camaraderie with Louise continues via every supportive, cheerful phone call I receive from Mrs. Easterday whose joyous surname certainly fits my friend's unique and very special personality. Louise's congrats arrived consistently and promptly upon our son's many successes ranging from his four years of composing Post & Mail columns which were entitled "Adole-SENSE", through his salutatorian designation, national merit finalist ranking, selection by Senator Richard Lugar to serve as a teenage ambassador to Japan, first place ranking in his Wabash College graduating class, Graduate Assistantship at the Ohio State University, MBA degree from University of Michigan, job promotions, and theatrical endeavors. Like clockwork, congratulations emanate always from this gracious lady. And she approves of my newspaper columns, too!

Louise and I both pat ourselves on the back for our "pack rat" endeavors. We never ever part with what I refer to as eternal keepsake "ephemera" consisting of scrapbooks, movie and theater tickets, church bulletins, greeting cards, favorite newsworthy articles, clipped out magazine pieces, photographs, inspirational quotations, old report cards, diplomas…ad infinitum. We serve as willing archivists…fortunately, we both maintain aisles through the stacks of "stuff" so we can still find our kitchens, however!

Recently, my postal carrier delivered this treasured, copied note to me -- sent from the Easterday house to the Sexton mailbox: (an August 20, 1996, letter to Louise's grand-daughters and their doggie named R J)

"Dear Lauren & Megan & RJ,

It was fun seeing you girls getting ready for school last night, and RJ giving his 'sniff test'. When I went to school, we went for one-half day to get the list of books we needed for our class. Then we'd go to the Columbia Drug Store on W. Van Buren Street, Columbia City, to purchase new books. If you knew of a family who had a child one grade ahead of you, then you could buy the second-handed book from them, if they were selling it. Now if you were in a big family, then you could pass the book on down to the next child. You see there wasn't such a thing in those days of 'renting' books. So you will notice in old school books a number of names on the front page which tells you who all owned the book.

At the Columbia Drug Store, Mr. Leininger would stack all the books the family bought and wrap them in one bundle with Post & Mail newspapers. So this cost the parents a lot of money and was quite heavy. Most of us were in luck until the State Superintendent of Education was persuaded by some 'Educated Business Publisher' to use his textbook for the coming year. This meant the older book could no longer be sold in the area for the school year. The new books were covered with a newspaper jacket which you made at home to preserve the nice look of your book when new. This way you had a better chance of selling it next year. The title of the book was written on the outside cover.

The advantage of owning a book was that you could read it during the summer and brush up on things. My mother had to hustle to sew us new dresses for school. Off we went down the lane with our new pencils, rulers, yellow tablets and books. Then we would wait for the old bus to arrive. Enjoy your school days and learn a lot. ~ Grandma Louise" (Both girls suffered from childhood cancers simultaneously. Darling Megan died on January 29, 1997 at 16 years of age. Lauren survived and currently enjoys a successful career in Southern Indiana.)

Louise attended Washington Center School during the close of the Great Depression years yet joined her classmates in an 8th grade traditional graduation ceremony held at the Columbia City High School/West Ward auditorium. George Leininger's Columbia Drugstore, where a young Orval Fisher clerked, was located where The Eagles' Lodge now stands. (What a small world in which we live! George Leininger built our current house, I believe? Gotta confirm that by retrieving some official-type, paper trail "ephemera"!) Beautiful, sweet-faced Mary Anthes I shall never forget as she prepared cherry, lemon, vanilla or chocolate cokes for us antsy, thirsty, wriggle-worm kids in the 50s, while our young eyes fixated upon spinning, ceiling fan blades overhead. TIn Roof sundaes topped with Spanish nuts appealed immensely to my sister Sarah! A rotating, black, wrought iron, greeting card holder's nearby positioning to the immediate left of the soda fountain provided a few quality moments of twirl/browsing as we munched potato chips and slurped flavored pop through our bendable straws. I probably still own some salvaged flattened paper which originally encased those very straws in addition to Hallmark and Gibson cards squirreled away in a drawer or trunk. I wager that Louise does as well! "Take a straw and throw it up into the air; you shall see by that which way the wind is…" ~ John Selden (Interest in printed ephemera dates back to Mr. Selden, 1584-1654, an English historian and antiquary, who provided its definition: "the minor transient documents of everyday life.")

"School days, school days
Dear old Golden Rule days
Reading and 'riting and 'rithmetic
Taught to the tune of the hick'ry stick
You were my queen in calico
I was your bashful, barefoot beau
And you wrote on my slate, 'I Love You SO'
When we were a couple o' kids." ~ Sheet Music, Gus Edwards/Will D. Cobb, 1907

"Printed ephemera--any printed or hand-written item normally discarded after its intended use--is now widely recognized as the latest charming and historically significant collectible." (from "Collecting Printed Ephemera" by Maurice Richards)

i compare that state of being to heaven itself (PLUS, listen to Susie on the 9/21 Colin Lively Show!)

i am always exhausted...but i compare that "state of being" to heaven itself...my mind is where it should be...focused on these orphan animals instead of on ME!

so happy that i finally figured out how to enjoy LIFE to the maximum. the secret? empathize with those who are as bewildered as i have ALWAYS been regarding human behavior. seriously.

THANKS FOR YOUR COURAGE AND YOUR EVER-SUNNY SOULS! again, i am sometimes hobbling...but my eye is on the sparrow!i believe totally in mind over matter!

i wrote the above in response to my wonderful friend, the great animal savior kate riviello who posted, "I cannot WAIT to read your book!! No one and I mean NO ONE says it like it is like you!!...If it were not for friends like you, Susie, I could not even get up off the floor. I mean this literally - like even right now, with my head gasket blown for the past 120 miles that I had to get a dog to safety, all night every 15 miles I had to stop to add oil, hoping my car is not destroyed, passing out from exhaustion a couple of times, thankful I had the money for the oil. Now I'm home, a dog was brought to safety, and every single drop of blood, sweat and tears expended for them is worth it. Everything I could not do if it were not for people like you in my life. Love you, let's talk soon!! xoxoxox"

kate is my role-model! thanks, kate!!! ♥!!!!! most of all and top of the list would be: THANKS FOR SAVING THE LIVES OF OUR FRIENDS, THE ANIMALS!!! ♥!!

kate's statement about the book thrills me...but i am so inferior to her...her efforts are monumental! i honestly think of her when i muster the courage to speak up and out and steadily and for certain and without reservation -- when i am working for animals and their rights to life and happiness! my heart pounds often to the point i think it is gonna rip outta my chest, but i review in my mind her leadership and her videos of courageous actions and her ability to inspire and to be strong for our noble cause! i am copying her!

love this note from sweet tressa marie:

"Wish more people thought this way, like Susie does. This world would be a much better place if people thought less of themself and more of our animals that are in so much need...She deserves all these blessings and more for what she does each day! Much respect and appreciation to her always."

thank you, tressa!

...and more neat comments! wow!

Neil J. Simon: "She is GREAT! What a woman! She is very impressive and I am enjoying watching her growth in popularity."

Cecelia Whapham: "Have visited the gravesite of James Dean in Fairmount, Indiana, and was so surprised to see it is still being adorned with flowers, teddy bears, and kisses! The young man was a brilliant actor and only made three movies in his short life and yet....he is still remembered by so many fans. We can only hope that we, too, will be remembered for what we have done in our short lives. Will look for Ms. Sexton's book."

Kelly McBride (Australia): "Susie Sexton has reached her Facebook friend limit so I can't post this on her page ... I hope you, Roy, will pass it on........ Dear Susie, As great writer I'm sure you know what the term 'inferior' means. You used it to compare yourself to another human. Sweetie, you could NEVER be inferior despite the scale you choose to compare yourself...... You have and are doing so much for our animal friends. If you choose to subject yourself to comparisons next time please say 'I am less knowledgeable than....' You will never be seen as inferior to anyone in the minds of your fellow humans xoxo"

time to stop believing in and hiding behind magic

In response to this information about the abuse of animals at Indiana University's medical school...

...I sent the following note to Betty.J.Goldentyer@usda.gov - please join me in emailing her:

PLEASE, let us end our inhabiting of another era which Charles Dickens once documented…the horrors of a backward, victimizing society…ghoulish and ignorant. I register my disapproval and ask that we progress and evolve and stop torturing animals to figure out what seems to be wrong with humans…thanks for stepping up to protest and to be a voice for animals relegated to experimentation in the year 2012…never necessary and certainly not now. Thanks for reading...

just sent the above, and, thankfully, it does not go to the "bought" guy who does not represent those who believe in the welfare and rights of sentient beings...and hopefully the political affiliation of the recipient does not cloud HER sense of fairness! my party appreciates animals...maybe women can lead the way on this......no more following the patriarchal lead. waiting for that day i am.

i keep believing that a charles dickens will surface to write novels about our ghoulish and nightmarish uncivilized human behavior and enlighten those who can join us to stop the terror.

...all of my pleas in the past have gone to a senator who is a hand-maiden for the agricultural "industry" and he makes no apologies about being bought off by that entity...animals mean zilch to that guy. shall see if this paper/cyber trail leads to...rome...and mr. NERO!

...and the apathy will be the ultimate culprit...time to stop believing in and hiding behind magic...this reality show must be looked in its face and changed for the good. wake up and step in and speak out...

postscript

...this is the fundamental concept...if we care, we DO...no time to even comment...just get really busy and save lives! this is perfect! when we are working this hard, no time for sadness...we pursue happiness like there is no tomorrow. exhausting but worth it!

for example, my dear friend Tressa Marie observed, "This blog really hits me right in the heart as I am involved in an Animal Testing Group and we are petitioning hard against all of these evil and horrific injustices that are done to our animal friends." thanks, Tressa, for all you do and all the ACTION you take to make this world a better place and to help our animal friends.
