Something bookish for Elizabeth Twist…just a hint, peeking out of my old compendium of Winnie the Pooh! My minions are busy crafting additional bookish delights. These three are by yours truly.

Actually, Liz, if you're reading this…they are making too many goodies! I am going to choose four for you & reserve the rest. Hope you like them!

Nanowrimo Day 8:

Now, this photo looks exactly like a scene out of Troll or Derby.  Rural farmland in the foggy morning sun, crispy cold wetting everything like a frozen dew.  Hrm, guess I better write something.

Great chapter today—Harlow harkens back to an important childhood ceremony.  No notable nanos to share—not because there aren't any good lines—it's just that I'm listening to my friend Nathan Lowell talking on his morning walk, and I'm really into *his* Nano monologue right now.  He writes two drafts every November.  Yep, really.

Go give him a listen.

My progress may not be as rapid as I would like—in fact, I dreamed about it last night!  But don't forget, I've already got over 40,000 words in the can on this book, so I can afford to take it somewhat easy.  It's not the true Nanowrimo experience, but I'm glad I decided to do it, anyway, because I needed the excuse to make writing a daily exercise again.  I mean, really.  Sweet November, what a blessing you are.

This really reminds me of Dunn Woods.  I was so tempted to use this as a book cover.  You never know, I could change it again!

Not before the paperback releases, though.  What paperback, you say?  Why, this one!

Another from ARC.

The Wizard Takes a Holiday, my free short on Amazon & everywhere fine ebooks are sold, got a facelift today, courtesy the great Nik Caesar, King of Scary Art.

I *love* it.  The title of this piece is That Old Creepy Guy at Punk Shows, and I personally think it totally rocks.

You should go download it.  It's free, and it's safe for all ages.
