The new laptop is revolutionizing my workflow, my thought process, my goal-setting…so many things to write and edit, so little time! But now, at least, I have a better toolbox for getting as much of it done as possible.
Having said that, I've got to trim my time commitments, and one of the best ways I can think to do that is by cutting back on social media stuff.
I'll still blog, but I don't intend on spending every day starting out with a mile long post on how the writing process is going. I'm just not into that right now. I'd rather just write.
So, I'm off, dearies. I've still built time into my days for all my website addictions (and there are SO many), but I'm excited to be back at work.
Wish me luck!

Coming down from the mountaintop…
Hey, gang. I was just looking at my calendar, and This Brilliant Darkness will be coming out of the Prime program on Amazon in a few days. If you're an Amazon Prime member, that means you can borrow it for free right now, for as long as you'd like.
But in just a few days, you'll no longer have that option, unless I decide to offer it again. Frankly, I haven't decided at this point.
Good news for Nook folks, though—it'll be going back into Smashwords, B&N, iTunes, etc! So, if you've been waiting for it to be available, it won't be much longer.
Buying, recommending, reviewing, reblogging, tweeting, Facebooking, etc., is always appreciated—or if you can't afford $2.99, there's the free short, The Wizard Takes a Holiday.
Work has begun on the TBD sequel, That Crackling Silence, and another short about The Wizard is fleshing itself out, as well. Promise you that. And, yes, there will be MORE background info about our mysterious wizard. You've insisted, and I'm all about pleasing you!

Strong woman! Why are there no teen series based on Joan of Arc?
Why is there no book blogger called Joan of ARC?
There should be both.

" I do believe in an everyday sort of magic — the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, works of art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; the whispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we're alone." ~Charles de Lint

Some people would say I'm #2, but that's a different story! ;)
Last time I looked, Charlaine Harris and Laurell K Hamilton were still above me, so I was happily surprised to see my ascension this morning!
Makes me all the more eager to get back to work on the sequel.
